@Fate210 Probably some sort of bug. Have you tried reloading from a previous save or replaying the entire level? If it still persists you can clip through the gate door by using the no clipping cheat code, just type ghost in the console.
@Forsete i tried all of the above, i figured out that the problem was the Skaarj skin is too big to touch the button so i replayed the whole game up until that part :P thanks for the help though :D
At the beginning of this level - if you step on the initial lift at 0:10, and jump back off, you can travel underneath the lift to a secret area containing an ASMD.
I cant press the switch at 4:11 for some reason but i can press the left one. any ideas why?

I usually destroy the barrels with my disruptor not to waste ammo.
