aircrack is used to decrypt after running airodump so it shouldnt being effecting the macchanger. first things first you need to state what distro / bit / and version of BT your running. As this does have a huge impact on how the software opperates. Also what wireless adapter chipset are you using.

cace tech makes and sells them, they are the only retailer for the adapter. A basic airpcap (with no trasmiting functionality) is around 198USD, A airpcap with transmit functionality (for packet injection) is around 298 USD, and one with TX (trasmiter) and x2 antenna ports is 698 USD.

its wpa not wap. and it's not 'very easy', it depends on your dictionary, jack the ripper rules, computing resources, and their password. if their password is remotely good (non dicitonary words) then i doubt you could crack it

You need a supported adapter, not all adapters work with all software. However, cain and able is EXCLUSIVELY for the Winpcap adapter. If you use the aircrack suite, it supports most of the cards on the market today, but the best version is linux only, so you have to use a live CD - Backtrack 2.

depends on the adapter, NETGEAR WPN511 PCMCIA works great with Backtrack2 and that card i got it 19.99 cnd, go to aircrack-ng site there is a list of compatible adapters that will work, the right card should have the ability for packet injection (get the job done faster)aircrack-ng and remote exploite site for backtrack2 has all the info for linux, you get far more options with linux over windows.

To do it in Windows, yes. You will need the AirPcap adapter that allows hardware packet injection, in Windows. Under Linux, all you need is a good pcmcia or minipci card that allows packet injection like the Prism 2.5 cards or a card based off of the Atheros chipset. NOTE: not all cards based on the Atheros chipset will do packet injection.

AirPcap Tx is a good adapter, but admittedly it's quite expensive. A cheapter route to do the same would be to get a relatively cheap USB adapter like the Alfa AWUS036H and a VMware image of linux with aircrack installed, many such images are available, and it works well. But the video is interesting because this is the first I've seen the cain software in action.
