Wait so the main problems your stating with the theory of aliens is that it involves technology we dont have? Doesnt that go without saying, how in the hell can you compare alien tech with that of ours and expect it to make sense. No doubt that alien lifeforms exist somewhere else in the universe. I don't think there is convencing evidence that they are visiting us in spaceships. People attach meanings and create patterns for things that they do not recognize. The meanings they attach depend on the culture they are a part of. In ancient times people assumed they were angels or demons. In modern times they are spacemen. I think natural explanations explain UFO signtings. Psychological explanations explain abductions.

Recent scientific findings point toward processes that produce the precursors of life to be something that would happen under the right conditions. Given the huge size of the universe, I think it would be likely that life does exist out there somewhere. Whether intellegent, technological life exists close enough to travel here is much less likely.

Similar to a dream, I would compare it more to a vision, to the power of suggestion, to the will of another manipluating one's own. It reminds me of the LOTRs where Frodo put on the ring, where his consciousness was taken to another reality, and where he could be harmed physically, since many adbuctees bare physical evidence of their experiences.

His books are not that common anymore, but I'm sure a library will have his works on hand. There are even YouTube videos about him. He offers something that most UFO enthusiasts try to suppress. The present day danger of UFOs is that people are owing human existence to extraterrestrial "intelligent design." Dr. Vallee notes that UFOs serve to change human belief.

As for the "Rapture," there are so many definitions and interpretations about it (among various Chrisitan groups) that I'm not sure it qualifies as "alien abduction."

UFO's definitely exist. A UFO is simply an unidentified flying object. It could be anything. An RC helicopter could be a UFO.
