I played with Christopher The Wolves while he was in Kuala Lumpur several years ago.I played guitar, harmonica and voice. That was in Bukit Bintang Maybank Square..
The one-stringed instrument is called gopichand, or ektara is the common name. Ektara means "one string". Google it if you want more info. It is famous in the Bengali region of India.
@dtarrant100 this guy is obviously loaded judging by his variety of equipment and the cost of each piece. there are 6 different cds probably all self produced. he is not a bum.
I have never crossed such extraordinary musicians ... but when I will, I be leaving some heavy dollar bill in that thing, because these people deserve it! It's great!
he was here in port townsend washington at the wooden boat festival and on the weekends sometimes. he is pretty cool. i want to know every one of his instruments. the names of them please
hey chris! good to see you again, i used to watch ya, ya used to blow the didgeridoo in the faces of my two small children! ha ha! peace brother, aint the same without ya
Hey Phillip - I like the clip. Those were good times in Oxford. Would you mind putting my name on the clip, so people can check out more of my music if they like? My music name is Christopher of the Wolves. Cheers!
I'm sorry but i don't get it... Still really cool how he can play all those different rhythms while making it actually sound like it's supposed to go together.
His name is Christopher of the Wolves. I heard him on the radio this week and had to get some of his CDs - very mesmerizing music. Little did I know at the time that he is a one-man show. What a talent!
Was he brought up by wolves? Are any of these wolves in the Whitehouse? How does he keep the wolves away from the door? Was he married to Red Riding Hood? Has he severed his hood connections and gone straight?
He's a musical genius. I saw him in Seattle at the 2008 FolkLife Festival and bought two of his CDs. Later went to his web site and bought two more. The CDs are nicer -- without the crowd noises and such, and some of them seem to be from the very heart of the universe.
Oooh! That man seems quite nice! I was watching him before I caught my bus, and every time someone put money in, he lifted his digereedo and honked at them in thanks
Amazing to see a man that can do more than one thing at once. No wonder he's popular with the ladies. My 84 year old grandmother gave him her phone number
