How is this anime? Is the animation exactly how it is in the opening? Picture-like? Also, what kind of magic do they have in this anime? Is it an anime that has awesome mahoujin, and crazy effects, and all that, or is it something like "the real magic is love and the bond between people"?

An answer on that would be appreciated.

The animation is the same as in the opening. The backgrounds are based on photos but the characters and other things that moves are animated in another way and quality. To me sometimes that was a little bothering. But the backgrounds are stunning.

Its not so much the crazy effects magic in this show but more the bond between people part. It has some cool magic scenes but that is far from the essential pillar of the series.
