I came across a really good document a few months back that was very in-depth and described policy changes and teacher behavior changes in order to make the school as safe and harassment free as possible for GLBT students. This document wasn't American, though, it was given to several Australian schools I believe, not sure how it turned out.

It can also involve unwanted sexual touching. The more serious forms of harassment can be assault. You will want to talk to a lawyer, if you are needing advice for legal reasons.

My boyfriend, he gets herrased, daily he says, about being 'gay' or asked if hes gay. when truth be told he isn't, he is bisexual(not out of the closest) and is dating a female currently, whom also is. this is terrible and sad, he is afraid to come out because he believes it will only feed the flame of herrassment

Well I am far past the school days, but I have been threatened with death for being out. I have had a knife pointed at me and I think the only thing that saved me was others coming out of the club. I can only imagine how bad it is for a student in schools today.

I cannot imagine what it would be like to be out as a school student. High school can be difficult without having being out to deal with too. I appreciate your bravery and courage.
