Hitting any of those blasts is impossible on my kit....... you have to hit the green pad really hard and you can't hit the pads that hard when you're trying to blast that fast.

You didn't happen to get a 3rd cymbal for the Ions, did you? Even if not, at least Pro drums only requires at least one cymbal. That would be interesting for Visions (using Yellow and Green for Pro cymbals).
