I always liked this version of "Turn On Your Love Light". I have the vinyl album. My other favorite cut from it is "Down In Texas". Both of these tunes are supreme examples of the Papa Don sound.
Thanks for the great comment Mr Galore! I totally agree! It was on a single, but this is from his brilliant album, "For your precious love". There are several tracks on there that are also the best versions of. Check my other Oscar vids.
EVERYONE should have either the Charly LP, "Papa Don's Preacher" or the CD's of Oscar's work that were released not too long ago...just magnificent Southern soul!
