Maynard is not losing is voice...he is just changing...people keep looking at all these silly details like..."oh no that live wasn' t like the CD--it s weaken" and so on....without focus their minds on the energy that is irradiated in that moment...and oh well..voice is really sensitive...like other parts of the organism it s a mirror..u can be a little tired..and u can see differences..it happens a few times that a singer can give his best on stage...trust me....see ya guys..

I was in that same festival but I didn't know about Tool back then. I was tired and thought "Nah, it's probably something bad anyway" and just left without checking them up. God, I regret that decision so much.

This was before they had the lasers. I saw them this summer (2006) twice, once here in Ruisrock and before that in Prague. No lights in neither one. If i remember correctly, they got the lasers only after this European tour - late 2006/early 2007, that is.

Thats a good question! On 1:44-1:45 you can definitely hear a voice backing up the "i need to watch things die" lyric. Im confused! What is it?

It's a vocal effect.

During that part, who ever is running the mics puts an octave up effect on Maynards mic.

At about 1:28 the other voice if there too but it's kind of out of place. I think it's a fancey effect. If you'll notice there is kind of a chorusy sound on his voice the whole time. I could be just be fucking wrong as hell though.
