Now go and see what the Greek said the world Christian means and then read what Paul called himself in Romans 9:1-4 and Romans 11. He never called himself Christian. I have a question regarding crosses worn around the neck. How can it be considered idolatry? Isn't a representation of what Jesus did for all sinners? I wear a cross and do not worship the actual cross. My faith lies in Jesus. I understand many people just wear the cross to wear it, but others wear it as a reminder to the lamb who's blood was shed.

Sorry that got posted twice. When my son asked me about this man dead upon the cross in my wifes (then) church I kinda didn't know how to tell him what it meant because I don't understand it myself. Is it a macabe symbol of what Christ did for us? I believe the bible says he was laid upon a tree so where does the cross come from? These are not questions. @SteveWaddell1 True He died upon the tree. The Pagan Christians through the influence of Rome replaced the word Tree with their pagan crosses. So many people wear those things without even knowing why. Galatians 3:13.
