Certainly it's great that McClellan has chosen to tell the truth about the dishonest and autocratic nature of the Bush administration. However, he was just a mouthpiece, and really wasn't in the loop regarding WHY these crimes were committed.

Bush wasn't trying to "spread freedom" in the middle east with this occupation. We still don't know what went on in his tiny evil brain, but we do know it had nothing to do with nurturing the growth of democracy! He has given ample proof of that.

I honestly think this is damage control for Bush and his company. Blame his advisors for his bad mistakes - and as we all know, Bush pardons his advisors, so there is no chain of custody for blame. In fact, the blame falls on the liberal media for not holding them accountable.
