at the entrance if you jump over the barrel and over the edge theres a barrel that takes you to the end of the level and only have to jump one badguy. saves the stress

If I'm not mistaken, at the beginning of the level if you jump over the barrel and stay close to the wall, like fall down into the abyss, theres another barrel that takes you to the end! a nifty shortcut (though that's not too fun) :P

I keep this game close to my heart. It took me nearly a year to actually make it through the whole game and fight the last boss at Gankplank Galleon. Then I played DKC3. Compared to the first part in the trilogy, it was really easy. Took me only about two weeks. But then again, there was that secret island...

I know a trick for this level, have 2 monkeys and get hit by a bad guy, then keep rolling and jumping and you will be able to walk on air :)

This was the first game I ever played, I love it so much, I sacrificed sleep and food for it. It's truly a mark in gaming history. People still play it. christ I haven't played it for 10 years, where have i been :)
