  • I miss Megaupload.

  • I want to clarify something. I am American and I would never support Anticopyright, and i don't know of a single person that would. These laws exist because of horrible monstrous people with black souls of greed. Combine those people with the US political system(A smörgåsbord of corrupt politicians that will take bribes from anyone)and you get uncontrollable chaos.

Don't say Fuck the American people. We hate these laws as much as you do.

Say Fuck the American Political System. It's broken

  • @R0manziez I would totally thumbs up but TPB is down right now. You rule Peter Sunde.

  • Damn when it comes to people like him i (and others out there) tend to have a love/hate relationship:

I respect ('love') him because he is brave enough to 'step out of line' and go against 'the system' and provide us with free music/programs (etc.), but on the other hand i scorn ('hate') him because i think of how many hundreds of millions of dollars have been lost because of the existence of the pirate bay.

  • Thank you Pirate Bay for everything

  • He's HOT!

  • So how is Downloading Songs off the Internet different from listening to music on the Radio or Youtube your not paying for it, your not paying to listen to it? What are they gonna do next take me to court cause i whistled some Nirvana OMG he is whistling music he is obviously stealing music $75.000 cause i whistled a song!

  • Yay. I would give this some Flattr... but Youtube don't support it.

  • Here's how I see it: If I like the music, I will BUY the music, in order to support the artist, so he/she/they can make more good music in the future. If I hate the music, (but for some god forsaken reason, need it, say, for a class project) I will torrent it, as I don't believe in paying to own shit.

If I need a program, but it is too expensive, I'll torrent it, and then buy it later, simply on moral grounds, as those are usually a bitch for programmers to make, and they deserve that money.

  • @AndrewDeLong You and I. We are a minority. The good pirates who actually take advantage of torrents fairly.

  • @AndrewDeLong

Well, most musicians make all of their money on concerts and events. The people who make money off of mp3 file downloads are the record companies who organize music distribution and advertisement for the artist. Piracy handles advertisement for the artists for free.

  • @AndrewDeLong Don't forget the big corporations over pricing software.

    3dsMax= 1,000$-3,000$(!!)

    Blender (very similar software)= 0$

  • @BigdogWitBigdog

Well, certain pieces of software are difficult to create, and take a team to maintain.

I've not used either 3DS Max or Blender (as of yet), as I am still getting accustomed to After Effects.

To my knowledge, I know of no open source equivalent to A.E.

  • but hey, copyright is good, there must exist, but not so much. ;)

  • This guy should receive a Nobel prize.

  • Fake

  • Piratebay=a way so stop making rich companys and rich scumbags get more power and more money. Sweden found a way to fuck with capitalisem.

  • PIRATE BAY HAS MADE MY LIFE SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!

  • Musicians/Recording-Artists get screwed by their record company, not by piracy. They should advertise on Youtube and sell their music for download via Amazon, or their own website. Films are expensive to view, which means that Films featuring unknown actors, or from unknown directors/producers are much less likely to be seen should the legal option be the only option. If a film is good, most people will buy it. However, a lot of films are so shit, I wish I had been paid to watch them.

  • @Sidowse LOL very wise observation! ;D yeP!! hollywood's got a big bill to pay for us because of so many undecent movies!!!!! But, speaking about these copyright-protectors-scumbags, can you believe I bought a bloody (VERY EXPENSIVE) original software and my CD-ROM thinks its pirate so the damn doesnt work?? why this &*(%$ has to protected against pirate cds? I put what I want inside my computer!!! xD this war gotta stop. The Pirate Bay has to win ♥♥

  • How the hell is he supposed to take it seriously? They might as well fine him 100 Trillion dollars. Its not even as though its the plans for the latest BMW engine, or NASA satellite that are being shared illegally. No, its a whole load of films and music, most of which are shit and only distributed at their worth ie for free. If a film/album is good, it mostly get bought anyway.

  • I wish we were more like Sweden...

  • the founders maight be gone but EVERYONE IN THE WORLD IS NOT. we wont stop SCREW YOU HOLLYWOOD

  • Yo, ho, haul together,

    hoist the colors high.

    Heave ho, thieves and beggars,

    never shall we die.

  • lot love to pirate bay :)

  • and he doesn't beleive in God FUCK YA BEST MOFO EVERARRRRRRRR

  • my hero

  • The problem is the music and movie industry is run by a few groups who are destroying all creativity and art. You should only buy music from bands that release their music independent from the labels and only support indie films. Not to mention they only come out with about 1 or 2 good movies a year, am I to pay for all their pop culture special effects garbage because they are good at making flashy previews. I won't contribute to the downfall of art and some billionaires bank account.

  • SWEDEN

  • i think that everyone that has downloaded from pirate bay should donate 2 pound, there were about 1 billion poople that downloaded from pirate bay so if that billion donated just 2 pound each to help bale out the inventors of private bay,its not fair how the people who made pirate bay are taking the blame it should be everyone that downloaded from pirate bay.there should be a charity started to help these guys out..

  • Pirating is wrong.

    The pirate bay is wrong.

    I want free stuff.

The pirate bay has free stuff.

So i use the pirate bay.

  • @justamember0 LOL messed up logic !!!

  • I wouldn’t want someone "sharing" my work with millions of friends without paying. That would be like Broadway selling one ticket and having a full house. If you wouldn't appreciate this kind of "sharing" at your own expense, then you should not treat others this way. I don't think the amount of money an individual makes justifies treating him in such a way that he feels robbed. Rich or poor, both have a right to be compensated for their labor. If prices are unfair, people will not buy.

  • Fuck copyrighit , long live pirate bay

  • Hollywood fuck you fucking jews

  • These guys have gotten rich off of other people's work.

  • @phrixil copyright is there to protect the artists work not being used by anyone else.In reality it is used by companies to make a huge profit. Sharing is not a crime and information IS free.

Stealing is defined by depriving someone of something. When you torrent you are copying a file.

  • Hollywood and other company's might as well give up. Who gives a fuck if their losing money due to piracy. Some dickhead at Microsoft bought a russian fighter-jet for his shitty collection. THIS IS WHY THERE'S A SUCH THING AS PIRACY.

  • haha #LOL #OMG

  • Not 'the' pirate bay,pirate bay,not 'the' twitter,twitter.

  • @N00bizme weird since its ''thepiratebay(dot)org''.

  • @N00bizme it is the piratebay

  • In Bulgaria, where I'm from, when I come home very summer to visit, all my friends are playing illegally downloaded CS.My friends can also play all the WoW games for free.Buying a new game simply isn't affordable, the country has been in recession for 20 years now.People hardly get by,let alone waste money. These pirated games keep the people interested, and let them temporarily forget about their hardships.

  • how is 3.6 million dollars nearly 4 million dollars? theres a tiny little difference of about 400,000 dollars, but sure that's not significant at all,is it?

  • *insert pirate song here*

  • Lol@religious fag

  • I like how he felt inclined to make the fact that he was an atheist audible, why are atheists always so proud.

The problem with these sites is that it bankrupts the companies who work hard to make these games, evidenced by the fact that game companies are making DRM that intends to wrought the demise of online pirates, but it reality robs those who legally procure the game from enjoying the product that they purchased. Also, who are they to discuss what one should do with art, they didn't makeit

  • @Weirdaljackson Why are religious people so proud?

  • @RoyalRoyale We actually aren't, why should one be proud for consenting to the decrees of a congregation. Calling us proud for choosing faith would be like calling one proud for choosing an apple instead of an orange! Anyways, you missed my point the illegal pirating is a profoundly real issue that must be addressed and support of this man is only making us customers suffer even more immensely. Please stop pirating games!

  • @Weirdaljackson please stop spewing nonsense. Customers are suffering because the copyright holders do not care about the 'customer'. They only care about their profit margin. If it is not high enough they simply make customers pay more (try on Microsoft Windows for size, linking a software license to a device is just another way of increasing profit). People are fed up with this, it's as simple as that. And what can these customers do to show their dislike? Legally, nothing so that leaves ...

  • @xConundrumx That there is proof that you are all denying yourselves the truth, you exalt in the unfairness that these companies are inflicting upon us, Why? Because it gives you an excuse to resort to pirating games. You're wrong in saying there is no legal alternative, boycott these companies, promulgate your disdain by supporting companies that abstain from this behavior. You may think you are prohibited because you are one sole entity but that is where you're wrong. Long live PC games!

  • @Weirdaljackson Yes, because that obviously has a lot of effect. How naive are you? I also can't help but notice you keep avoiding the grievances people talk about. I give you a legit concern about how some software companies are molding the laws (by lobbying) and tweaking their EULA (which is their carte blanche it seems to do just about anything) and you go back to parroting about PC Games. Incidentally are you sure your username is copyright approved by Weird Al Yankovic?? Just a thought.

  • @xConundrumx Ha ha, who are you to tell me that boycotting is futile, you've never tried it. To berate a company for taking measures for taking measures against a practice that you are currently undertaking is utter hypocrisy. I am fully aware of the grievances DRM and copyright issues do indeed bring to customers, I've suffered from them firsthand. I am fully aware that these companies gluttonous behavior and I in no way condone it, but I will not rebel through theft!

  • @xConundrumx If you truly despise these companies do not emulate their behavior, they are undermining customers, deceiving them, and forcing them to comply to their arbitrary regulations; what are you doing differently? You're undermining their right to distribute, deceiving them by illegally procuring games, and dictating that they comply to your regulations before you alter your selfish drives. And as to your adherence to my username, he would agree as I am advocating legal consumption.

  • @Weirdaljackson Unbelievable here you go again with drawing the discussion back to pirated games. Guess you work for a game company or something. For your information I buy all my games legally on Steam. In fact I have spent thousands of dollars on it and most of it was a waste since the game did not deliver on it's promise, was riddled with bugs or problems, or was abandoned by the company at some point. And what can I or anyone else do against that, nothing.

  • @xConundrumx Then why are you advocating piracy, you chastise me as if I know who you are, as far as I'm concerned you are merely a name; if I possessed knowledge of your moral principles I would be encroaching upon your rights of privacy. I do concur to a degree, some companies have portrayed an intolerable amount of negligence to these games and that is inexcusable but is it fair to perceive the others as bearing the same moral standards, No. Give the good one's a chance you may fare better.

  • @xConundrumx funny some of the comments you read here ALL to justify your stealing copywrittnen files.

  • This man is a hero.

  • Sharing is caring bby, keep it rolling. Peace from the USA!

Ppl could thank TPB for free publicity and exposure.

  • Sharing is caring bby, keep it rolling. Peace from the USA!

Ppl could thank TPB for free publicity and exposure.

  • Fucking love that man.

  • OH SHIT! Here come the cyber police!

  • LOL moral fags. You're the kind that will suck dick for the government by taking peoples' money form them when you "grow up"

Or you're just too stupid to not share FREE stuff. You mad government nerds? :)

  • @AstralXRomance1 Me 5 minutes later: "MOAR free stuff plz? kthxl8r" :)

  • @AstralXRomance1 LOL @ moral fags*

  • are you not stressed out about the possibility that you might end up doing a year in jail time and paying a lot of money?

    Not really

    OWNEDD

  • I'd rather see a nuke go off in Hollywood than the servers of TPB switch off!

  • The irony? There's an ad in this video.

  • I don't think it's currently possible to stop file sharing. The same programs that allow you to download a YouTube page also allow you to share files. One third of internet traffic in 2010 was bit torrent. Millions of people in all countries share files, various laws aren't going to stop it. I used to share albums and cassette tapes with my friends simply by handing them to them. These Hollywood companies will claim that EVERYTHING on the internet is their copyrighted material.

  • Yeah,Long live The Pirate Bay, Long live the freedom of sharing ideas, The authorities are constantly violating our privacy, google himself sends logs about everyone' s searches to governmental organisations, so, where is our freedom now? We have no freedom? Money are made out of thin air to enslave the population and for the wealth of a group of rich people who rules the world. We cannot accept living in this kind of society, were our rights are infridged everyday!

  • Here is a thought....

people go to a library to share books, movies, etc...

piratebay lets people share the same shit.

    hm....?

  • @inknstrings authors get a fee for lending via a library so that helps support the creators work.

  • @mullartist No it supports the book publisher not the author just like songs support the record company not the artist.

  • @P0WAT0TH3P30PL3 Interesting to read that you think publishers and record company's don't pay artists. Do tell me how you support the artists - do you share your money, food, work, creativity or is this simply a one way take thing? Im trying to work out whats in this for the makers because they usually need money to fund their creative work.

  • @mullartist Well I never said they don't pay their artists but they usually make a ton more money of their work then the actual artist does and I support the artists by sharing their music that is the best way I'm just against the corporations the first time in history music is being incorporated never ever in history has it been like that and they want us to go that way? I don't think so.

  • @P0WAT0TH3P30PL3 The artists choice to go with the funders - if can they find another way. My beef is people who take and don't support the artists in any way. The suggestion that sharing is supporting artists is all to often a selfish excuse for not supporting artists. Let the artist chose to give away their work – some do. In this vid they say its not their job to come up with the financing deals yet they stuff up the financing deals the artists have chose to set up. They dont support artists

  • @mullartist Well I and many many people listen to the music we download then we buy it then we share it but that does not support the artist because it goes against copyright laws doesn't it? but oh yeah the money I pay for the CDs and Itunes goes to the publisher and the artist gets a small amount of the profits so really no matter what we do unless the artist has an independent label we are not supporting the artist TPB is really a protesting ground against the corporations.

  • @P0WAT0TH3P30PL3 hear what your saying - you protesting about paying for the packet, transport, accounting, office skills, etc etc and tpb guys don't care how you solve the problem.

  • @mullartist Well I'll I can say to that is that some people are greedy and don't care for the artists at all some use TPB for illegal reasons I and other people use it for protesting grounds don't shut it down because of a few bad apples.
