wow! you could really hear it "bite" the ground. thanks mark for being so helpful, i would have never got my honeybee if it was not for you. there is only one problem now, im addicted to rc helis haha.
Hi, What Neilas is talking about is basically he and I have had two faulty DX6i's my own where after a very short period its ability to remember any setting change was gone, and Neilas bought a Blade 400 with a DX6i and when you pressed lightly on the front of the case the elevator servo went full up!! just wondered if this is a repeat of the problem.
Sweet videos man. fyi...check out finless's videos on helifreak, he has a lot of radio set-up tutorials that might help. ...also, I'd switch to futaba's fasst, it's much better technology that spectrum's (anyone who doubts this should read up on it before commenting) You should also switch to futaba gyro's 240, or 401 it will cost more now but less later (crashes). Your heli will fell much more planted in the air. (just a little advice from someone who has said "fuck!" a lot)
it was completely pilot error on that crash, my own ignorance got the best of me, first few flights were very successful, which made this crash especially painful on my pride, I had been very proud it had never been crashed in all my early flights, then to have it crash like this, man that ruined my day more then anything, it could have at least been some spectacular crash that would have been worthy of calling it a "CRASH", lol.
like your vids love your helis. just starting out and doing well . ihave an E-sky 4 channel. i get alot from people like you and your videos. keep it up. thanks.
I think crashing is required when starting with a new heli. Just need to get all the kinks out, it's surprising that these things still fly after what they go through - my HBK2 has taken a hammering so far but today no crashes!
OMG THAT WAS PAINFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
please post the videos at the very moment of crash to show the damage. I know it hurts. I fly like a pussy just try and stay away from this sort of stuff but, good lord, this was just plain bad luck :(
well at that time every crash with my Belt CP resulted in a $45+ repair bill, nowadays though I rarely crash my Belt CP, but the Belt CP tends to break alot of stuff when crashed, at least when I crash it, And the ES600 is alot stronger, the Belt CP is very weak in comparison.

Ouch, what broke? I know the blades and flybar broke, but anything else?
RcAntax 3 years ago
I think it was just blades, flybar and main gear, everything else was fine.
