A good version! It is not Paul Weller singing obviously... who is it? I think he does an excellent job!! I really like it! The voice is smoother!! :))
you have a good voice . im a huge weller and marriot fan so was ready to slate your version . i was pleasantly surprised , you have obviously got elements of weller in there but your own voice comes through . you have done `your` version and thats what matters . top marks to you mate . would be interested to hear more .
Hi soz for late reply - babies and all.......lol - I will certainly dig out more Weller backing tracks in the future - I think i've even got one lying around with 'The Style Council' on it somewhere.....glad you enjoyed
cheers for taking time out to listen and comment - I know its a karaoke backing but i have tried to not sound like Paul in this one - Its hard coz Paul's voice in this track is very laid back and soft - which matches mine sometimes so i can understand the comparison. Its a style of song i like to do - I like the way the pitch changes so much - much like the way Paul McCartney writes his tunes. chanks again for dropping in on me :) J
Hehe - it is me - maybe in a bit to close to him at times (paul does do a 'yeah' on the backing track after the 1st verse) - funny really coz i find his stuff quite hard to do - this one just sits nice for me i guess xx

Paul is a god and I've found it quite hard to cover some of his tracks - i'm gonna try this one again soon with a better mic - tis a quality song x
