As a former audio engineer, I have found only 1 real case of backmasking...though there could be others. The one is ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) "Fire On High". This video (as with every other one I have seen) is mind manipulation through suggestion. Without the text showing you what the author thinks is being said, nobody would have guessed it.

Try it yourself. Find a friend or family member, have them turn their back to the video and let them figure out what is being said.

When you play it backwards it says: "Turn Back, Turn Back, The Record is in Reverse". I laughed for a solid hour after hearing it then. It was an obvious response to many of the false claims of backward masking in Rock songs of the 70s...especially those of "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin.
