But,the structural unemploy. rate was over 20%. People were employed but sitting and doing nothing, eventually some learnt not to work at all, now they can't manage with normal life. Communism fell not owing to the West, but because it went bancrupt. 0% unemp. was one of the reasons.

Going through U.S. Army Basic, knew a russian who once marched guard at Red Square. Really loved Stalin. I wake up to and sing this anthem every morning, and will continue doing so until the day I die.
The dissolution of the USSR was the greatest mistake of the 20th century. Gorbachev and Yeltsin really drove the country to shit. Putin brought it back, but it is still not the USSR.

Lets take a good look at the soviet union in the 1980's. Do you know what unemployment figures were? 0%! That's right...........I said ZERO %. Everyone had a job. I'm from the UK.....a capitalist country. Currently,the economy is ready to collapse. We have over 1 million people umemployed and its set to rise...So is capitalism still great to you? Typical guy from the West who has no idea about communism. The unemployment rate was 0% because it was decided so administratively. In PL in 80's we had 0% unemploy. as well. But,the structural unemploy. rate was over 20%. People were employed but sitting and doing nothing, eventually some learnt not to work at all, now they can't manage with normal life. Communism fell not owing to the West, but because it went bancrupt. 0% unemp. was one of the reasons.

Going through U.S. Army Basic, knew a russian who once marched guard at Red Square. Really loved Stalin. Lots of older russkies have nostalgia for those days, because they were a kickass country and people had bread on their table...nevermind there were millions slaughtered, millions more sent to the Gulag, and it took Adolf Hitler to have their one time they had the moral high ground.

You can always migrate... Though if I were you, I would stay in Canada, because it is so well developed. The only thing bad in Canada is the cold weather and darkness, but those aren´t a real problem (I´m scandinavian, so I know what -50 celsius feels like)
