Hmmm I got one of the current netgear routers . Problem is, mine NAT was MODERATE too. But in the menu u went to it didnt have any imcoming and outgoing and didn't have the ps3 IP address naturally like yours. I had to manually add it (198.168.0.5 is what the ps3 originally chose as default ) and checked the ones you said.

But now resetting the 198.168.0.5 is still in the netgear. And The ps3 now magically chose a new IP(198.168.0.2) and with this new IP address it is OPEN. Weird.

@TheMuse1212 to find your ip address open run on your on cpu or look in find. run /cmd or find cmd it should open the command prompt (a small black screen with lots of what looks like jibberish) simply type ipconig/all and look for your ip address. I followed these dircetions or opening my nat, however, and it logged me of of the internet. I do hope you have more luck than i did.

@StonerMcWeedSmoke I don't think you know what a cpu is. A cpu is hardware not software. I think you're talking about the gui. The graphical user interface not the central processing unit. ipconfig/all (the/all command isn't need just for the ip) shouldn't disconnect you from the internet.
