Did you see the report that came out a couple of weeks ago that was put out by a group of scientists studying the gulf stream current. They showed that the the gulf stream current in the gulf of Mexico has all but stoped and it doesn't come out of the gulf of mexico and out around the southern tip of florida anymore. They said that this is what they have been watching for, and would be the tipping point toward another ice age, and it has happened this summer. I'll try to find the link for ya.

@believersunderground Fortunately, you didn't touch upon the effect of the BP oil spill slowing and stopping the Gulf Stream last year. This alone will put Europe in an Ice age. None of this is guaranteed to happen. It is speculation and may NOT happen. Prepare just in case. Plan on possible plumbing freezes. Lets all PRAY that this POSSIBILITY DOESN'T become a reality. If the ice is melting at a high rate and the Greenland is rising out of the ocean because of the displaced weight would it not trap the ice on a rising land? Is one side rising faster causing a tilting shelf for the ice to slide off?
