I used to own only about two or three pounds of only white clay, less than a year ago! It's all about dedication! :) Call me crazy for following my dream, but at least I have one! :D
Yeah, seriously, if you like doing claymations, you should get at least two pounds of every color--other than red and yellow, since those aren't that practical...
I go to Michael's every time there is a sale, and bring that $3.60 price tag down to $2! It's really not that expensive when you think about it! Heck, most people are stupid enough to buy that much in cigarettes and alcohol in two weeks...
Yeah, I use the standard stuff--Van Aken Plastaline, not the claytoon, but I mean, the stuff works and it doesn't look all shiney. I want more of a matte look for my people and buildings. I might get some Newplast though in the future for plants and cars...
Well, I hurt my hands pretty darn good from all the rolling that I did. I bruised the muscle, I am sure of it-lol. So I won't be doing any hardcore rolling out the dough.lol.clay....
Anyways, I will be working on a few people and a boat for the next claymation.
Hmmm, I do happen to have 47 pounds. I'm sure that if a 20 pound turkey can break a foot, then...this is a lethal amount of clay...
lol, 5th season. I just go by the year. Can't count some of the years because they were weak.

LOL, well, I think most people can say that...other than Aardman. They used almost a ton of clay just for the Wererabbit movie they made!
