  • After learning this, watch this video to sing along. John Lennon's playing is shown very well watch?v=TU7JjJJZi1Q

  • what is strum pattern for B minor, G and E ?????????? please answer me

  • Very helpful tutorial, I really neede HELP! What is the strumming you use?

  • Bobby nice lesson but you interchanged the G and D chord on "help in any way"

  • EL GATO TROLOLO !!

  • toooo slooowwww

  • errore

  • Thanks, very helpful.

  • In the intro, the phrase ends on E7 (Not Emaj)

  • @RatherBeWatchingPorn You are wrong my friend, there is no E7 in the entire song. Search the original sheet. no E7. Thanks

  • @Semaca1983 well anonymous friend of the internet, my transcriptions said otherwise, but they were more of an arrangement (maybe for piano even, I learned this song awhile ago so i cant remember). Listening to the original track from 50 years ago it does sound like a E maj. E7 seems to mimic the harmonies of the voices though, and for me it it creates a more robust version of the song. Its definitely worth trying to shake up the trite open chord-type progressions with something more colorful.

  • very useful

  • video lesson for dummies- fifth string second fret with your index finger... its annoying

  • good :D

  • thank you so much for posting this movie. you really are a good teacher! this movie helps me to practice alot!

  • I just read that George couldn't play that arpeggio as fast as they needed to so it was over-dubbed later! I wonder if that's true?

  • whats going on??? :P

  • Thanks I looked at other videos but ur the only good one

  • 10x a lot :))

  • Better way to play that arpeggio passage in the intro is to start with this chord shape:

5-7-5-X-0-X then the sequence you cited. Also use this E chord shape before the arpeggio run, so you're in better position : 0-7-6-7-0-0 and you can add the bass line by toggling back and forth from the A string to the E string at 7th fret.

    my 2cents

  • fuck yeah for canada

  • AESOME YOUR REALLY AWESOME IT WILL TAKE A TIME UNTIL I LEARN IT BUT THANKS

  • the guy seems to know what he is doing,in my opinion.

  • D G A not GDA

  • you tell em willie

  • do you want him to come to your house and teach you damn, when i was learning i had no youtube and barely any tabs at all, he gives you the chords listen to the song for the strumming pattern or hire a teacher.

  • @willeng84 I can dig what your saying. When I was growing uo in the 70's, I didn't have a record player and cassettes were not popular yet. All I had was an 8 track player.

Imagine trying to learn a song on one of those? Your song goes buy, you miss a part (remember there was no fast forward or rewind) then have to wait for it to roll around again.! It sucked, but did not hinder me.

  • @willeng84 You can shut up he is an awsome teacher

so stop giving him your shitty ideas which are rubbish

He is a fucking teacher and an awsome one at that!!!!

  • @aglovale123 your an idiot. I complemented him. I have been playing guitar longer than you have been alive and am not trying to have some poor piece of shit talk to me. Fuck you and everything you stand for. I said to everyone bitching at this guy to fuck off. This was a year ago I left this remark and at the time EVERYONE was bashing this guy saying his strumming was wrong and he sucks, fuck that he shows you the chords listen to the song for yourself, thats what I said. nothing about him.

  • @willeng84 Sorry man i didnt read your comment propely i thought u were saying he is rubbish sorry yet again m8 no hard feelings:D

  • @willeng84 100% agree!

  • agree

  • LISTEN TO THE ORIGINAL. Like the Doobie Brothers said: Whoa oh oh, LISTEN TO THE MUSIC.

  • @joimpanne id give him 5

  • Down Down, Down Up Down Up...That is how i do it. Just feel it and do what comes natural. It will sound good.

  • strumming pattern please?

  • All great ,but A--C#m--F#m--D-G-A (not G-D-A) =)

  • Very Helpfull & has saved me a lot of time.

  • thank you BobbyCrispy

    :) :) :)

  • What's this guy's name, and where is he from?

  • @Willyboy933 Bob-Toronto Canada lol

  • wow the guitar part in this beatles song is amazing

  • Is that intro on a specific version of help? Cause I don't recognise it.

  • fucking great bob, you rock! keep up with the good work man

  • my hands are too small ¬_¬

  • with out kind people like you i would be lost

  • me too

  • strumming pattern please!!

  • yeah he messes up with first chord of verse he says its an E but just play A major chord and rest sounds good!

  • the best video!!

but men were you nervious?, because IS D G A!!

LOL BUT RELAX, IT IS THE BEST VIDEO

  • learned it in 10 mins. thx so much great vid!

  • how do you strum this song

  • arpeggio is just picking the individual notes of a chord its not exactly the same as sweep picking, sweep picking is usually using arpeggiated chords tho, if u want good arpeggio examples listen to pink floyd especially Brain Damage basically the entire song is arpeggios

  • nice job, you actually really help

    but whats the strumming pattern?

  • whats an arpeggio?

  • its wwere u play a chord and pull of ur fingers when u hit the note its also called sweep picking

  • Wrong. That's definitely not what an arpeggio is.

  • its where u use a cord and break it up

  • a big italian penis!

  • nice explanation, Ive always struggled with that arpegio part!

  • Wow.. how to play The Beatles with an Arch Enemy t-shirt! awesome!

  • omg is it normal if you finger tips are all tender and painful if you a beginner??? or am i doing it wrong. they hurt so much

  • That's normal at first. Your fingers will get used to it, they will callus up a bit and soon after you'll be able to play for as long as you want. Have fun!!

  • yeah you have to play a while for the skin to build up on your fingertips and then they will stop hurting, its like in the summer when your feet hurt by rocks and then they build up callus' and your feet don't hurt anymore

  • Well done Bobby a true teacher clear and precise. Keep up the goodwork!!

  • Nice job on this. I would add that for the D chord George is actually barreing on the 2nd fret and playing the open chord version of a c chord on the 5th fret. Check out 1:40 on the the opening scene from the movie...

  • Hey, great tutorial! :D

I just have 1 question though:

    What is the strumming pattern?

  • Excellent!

    Thanks so much.

  • why do you hate me??? :-(

  • im thinking that he is the only guy in the world that hates u :P ur a really good teacher should open up your own lessons place :D

  • He just wants attention.

  • Which tunning is that? I'd Eb can you tell me the transportation?

  • Great video!

Coul someone please help me out with the rythmn part? I just started playing guitar a couple of weeks ago and I can't get it to sound exact.

  • Oh thanks! =)

  • yeah. you should play it at the end so we know how the speed of the song goes.. i have the album by the beatles but just the guitar itself sounds diffrent from the whole band

  • Hey you really have patient for that! Its good work, but you should play all the song at the end that we understand that we already know it by playing with you ;)

  • Great As Always! I don't think da324 was being disrespectful in his comment. Bobby would you take a look and determine if he's right - it's no big deal if there was a mistake.

  • ok, it is D G A, my mistake......

  • Great lesson as always.

  • At 3:27 the verse goes (D)Help (G)in any (A) way, not GDA, nice post.

  • I love your musical taste, thank you for all the lessons
