It's funny. I remember finding this song right before I moved to the desert. I remember listening to this song before I moved back to the forest from the desert. Now I am listening to it right before I move from here to leave for the Air Force.

It seems that I find this song to remind me of adventures in new places. I'll try to keep the tradition alive once I leave my USAF training and go somewhere new.

i think theres a note in the first part of the song is that wrong, int he beginning, it hink it tells you to hit A and E 2 times when ti clearly should be C and E and A and E instead.

@lloydxlomentigar You're right - there are actually a lot of inconsistencies between the score and Aki Kuroda's performance. I pencilled in what she played into my own copy of the score, while slipping in my own touches here and there.

Hello! Awesome playing! It's such a beautiful song =) Would you happen to know if this would be considered grade 8 level? I've never taken lessons before so I have no idea what to look for in a grade 8 piece lol. I need a couple pieces to play for a university exam. Would this and "At Zanarkand" (also from FFX piano collections) be considered grade 8 level? Or if you could recommend a couple pieces I could play that would be great too ^__^ Amazing playing again :)

Also, I forget if I asked you, I'm pretty sure I didn't, I was planning on but then I had to go so I forget; Anyways! I was wondering if you had a real piano? Is the technology is to the point where it's almost the same(w/ your keyboard)? I ask because my piano teacher recomends I get a piano for the sake of sound quality, technique, ect...

I have an upright piano (wish I had a grand!) which I studied on as a kid. I agree with your teacher, usually keyboard notes are "lighter" and require less muscles to press. Also, they don't have the same range of loudness/softness as a real piano, so you'll be more inhibited in learning techniques. I think if you're serious about it, you should get a real piano if you're able to... However, the technology is useful for other things, e.g. composing and making YouTube videos! :)

I've only tried playing Rikku's Theme and Besaid Island so far. Rikku's is pretty easy, Besaid is harder but lots of fun (and also my favorite!) Everything from the FFX Piano Collections is too pretty for me to suggest only a few... if you have time, I say find them all on YouTube from SilvaGunna and give them each a listen. :)
