Von Karma isn't menacing ehough. I think they could've easily gotten away with casting international actors. I understand the the whole story is originally set in Japan in the Japenese (original) versions of the game, but being so used to the American setting of the overseas versions, it feels kinda uncanny to see all the characters as being japanese.
