Well I know jagex has screwed up so many aspects of the game. But I'm in love with the concept and I will always be addicted o it. Yes 3rd grade through 6th grade...those were the days. When rs was in it's prime. Now I see the same people and theres just alot less people playing. But honestly, I don't care if they don't like it. I always will no matter what jagex does to the graphics. Sure, ganodermic looks too detailed. But the only way they could really ruin the game was just be discontinuing

RS1= 2d Graphics and Cartoon-ish like monsters and only the buildings, mushrooms and wells were 3d.

OldRS=3d, Flattene-like items and characters

NewRS= Alot of detail

Graphics don't make the game. Though they are a good 20% of the game, the game can be awesome on its own. Honestly i liked rs2 becuase the items and areas were simpler i mean thats what made it runescape.

Not only that, but some people can't afford better computers and can't play it anymore because the quality is too high even on the lowest settings. The reason is the fact that the game-play is bollocks (all you ever do is skill grind), it calls itself a "free game" but it requires a subscription to access most of the game (sort of like if 343i brought out a new Halo game and gave it to people for free but didn't let you use any weapons after the 2nd level until you paid them a fee but still labelled it a "free to play game")

@runepk4life500 honestly I never mind the graphics change, I actually liked it but now they change all the sounds to sound "realistic", they give the character models themselves actual faces which looks sorta ugly. They make Final Fantasy wannabe hair and clothing, they changed the trees... now they're just going too far. Though if you look at the dwarves and gnomes they still have their original look and animation for some reason.
