  • written on the mirror in Thai "shut the fuck up and TRAIN!" but not as bold as I translated....

  • Anyone know the name of this Institute and Leiden exactly resides in Bangkok?

  • what gym is this?

  • all i hear is I U A

  • I bet staf infections run wild in that gym.

  • Top King is nice, and popular in thai gyms.

  • wow thier sure is a lot of grabbing going on in this video

  • the guy in 2:20 is so sic!!!

  • AAAAAY!! We. :)

  • Hardcore ! And i thought my gym was a shit hole !

  • Amazing how the young ones have awesome technique.

  • l'allenatore pelato sembra quello degli smashin pumpkins

  • THIS IS A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE OF HOW AUTHENTIC MUAY THAI IS PRACTICED AT A FIGHT SCHOOL..

EVERY ONE NECK WRESTLES DAILY ..

THIS VIDEO IS A DEMONSTRATION WHY EVERY NOT DOING THERE WORK OUT THIS WAS IS JUST KILLING TIME!

HOW DO WE MAKE OUR SELFS TRAIN LIKE THESE GUYS??

  • Is it just me or does every muay thai establishment have a different sound they make while hittng

  • Muay Thai Family rocks in Thailand. ;-)

  • niceeee

  • @tobias25 I agree, Boon thai pads are awesome, Other cheap pads ive got the kicks seem to bounce off and feel crap.

  • awsome video!!!!

  • Kid at 6:20 sounds like Link from Zelda Ocarina of Time.

  • they'd knock link out in a second

  • He is still a Lumphini promoter and trainer, so it's not like the place is just looking to cater for just foreigners. Apparently the crowds at the stadiums aren't that good as of late so taking a few more foreigners might just be to supplement the income. The gym also has somewhat of a link to some gyms in australia who's fighters head to saengmorakot.

  • Whats the best muay thai trainin gear? I use windys and I bought twins before but twins sucked ass. Twins belly pads are awful! What are some awesome thai pads that can take a beating?

  • Windy, Twins and Fairtex are the top brands. I'm surprised your Twins failed you. Try Fairtex if you haven't had succes with the ladder two.

  • fairtex brother true shit made for true thai

  • @gingi13

I hear boon is great as well

  • i like the sounds aiue, aioe!!

  • The best sport ever !!! And a good school to improve your mental !!!

  • Yeah went back recently and the place has totally changed now; jar tui gave it a massive facelift and most of the Thais have gone sadly as the gym has kinda' steered 2wards training foreigners.

Good luck with Saengmorakot in november buddy:)

  • This youth at 4.04 has more style than every guys who film themselves on you tube.

Stop sucking yourselves and start learning

  • Well of course he does , he's Thai.

  • I don't understand why you show yourself on internet. Maybe that it's a kind of proudness, I don't know.

Have you ever fought in France?

  • Nice video. Thanks! The kids there, packed a punch.

  • Fantastic Vid, Thank you for posting!

  • you mma people ho thinks its so superior you know why its called mma in the first place? because it mixes just small parts of every martial arts, espesially muay thai and if MMA mixes just smal parts of everything how can you ever call MMA a complete martialart! In my mind MMA is a complete waste of time

  • please dont talk if u dont know anything about it, u just acting. Its not just taken "smal parts" its the best parts of martial arts. They mix all the good part of every sport, we have the best judo throws, muay thai combinations, bjj submissions, EVERY THING.

  • i would only consider a master of martial arts if the persons life was dedicated to travelling to the styles country of origin and training each important style for years not just going to a bullshit academy in the states where the teachers usually arent even that good

  • what you talkin bout willis usa has some of the best bjj acadamies.plus icp sucks ass

  • lmao ICP isnt the only thing i listen to dipshit

  • i kill you all in Call of Duty 4 :)

  • rofl :)

  • @acekingviper lol atleast weve got 1 up on them there! xD

  • Hello...Hard Camp. Top man Jar Tui...In his time as a fighter, Jartui was Tought!!!!

  • ive met jar tui

infact i train with phon martdee in perth

jar tui is very good friends with phon and often comes over here to support phon and his fighters. i train with the fighters too, with Tananchai (robocop) whos trained at fairtex and has developed skills as a kid at lumpinee.

  • if these kids in the beginning of the video train MMA than they would be unstoppable

  • oh my god, mma isnt the be all and end all of fighting, its shite!! stand in a ring for 5 rounds shin on shin, elbow to skull, and then maybe you mite understand how pathetic mma is, no breaks in muay thai, it fight or get fucked up

  • mma isnt shite. mma is the strongest all around fighting style there is. you realy cant compare the two its like compareing apple to oranges dumbass

  • depends if you want to fight or roll around on the floor, nothing touches muay thai for physical conditioning, stamina, or mental strength. go to thailand and see it in there homeland, it would make mma fags cry....

  • i agree muay tai is way funner to watch and to do, but mma is just stronger and more practical in a fight. and i think its realy funny that u think mauy tai is stronger than mma. if i fought u id put u in a arm bar and make u cry

  • i think if you had a fight with me i would snap your legs in half with low kicks then put my elbow thro your head, i train at zt on the south coast if you care to give it a go

  • i do no how to defend against a low kick just raise the leg and watch out for the inside tai kick. i would just take u to the floor and put u too sleep. im in canada soo no where near u. mma is a mix of mostly mauy tai and ju-jitsu so my ground skillz r most likly better.

  • @lilvanriper im in toronto and ive been looking for an mma practioner to spar with i am a muay thai purist and i want to see for myself how someone would put me to sleep, i have spared some of my friends who do mma but they are a smaller weight class and i end up over powering them with my clinch skills even when they take me to the floor, i am 150 pounds but i dont mind fighting people 160-170 if you are in toronto and you are up for a friendly exchange of techniques please let me know

  • @lilvanriper ive had 4 years of muay thai experience btw trained in hongkong and bangkok for a bit but most of it in toronto

  • You cant use MMA as a blanket statement because MMA is very different person to person. Some focus more grappling others more striking. I think some grappling is good on the street but striking is super important. Go ahead and roll with someone on the sidewalk, put an armbar on him and watch his friends come stomp your head in.

  • "Go ahead and roll with someone on the sidewalk, put an armbar on him and watch his friends come stomp your head in." Lol, Love what you said.True, I been telling people the same shit too. It's good to know some ground but in the street. Don't be trying that shit.

  • lol i forgot i left that comment... its a funny one.

  • @nujtxeej most fights end up on the ground. Being well rounded is definitely important.

  • @nujtxeej Thing, NOTHING witll help you if you if the other guy has a bunch of friends.

    NOTHING.

  • @plaparen except a gun.

  • @Drewski1316 Oh ok so if hes got alot of friends striking will somehow make you untouchable? like they arent all going to attack you at the same time already? That same logic works both ways dude.

  • Muay Thai or hell... even boxing is the most important for street defense. Then throw in some wrestling or bjj to learn control *just in case* things go to the ground. Although you should try your hardest to keep them from going there.

  • if i learned bjj for over 7 years and muay thai for over 5 id be much more then a competent fighter but i wouldnt consider myself mma cuz mma isnt a style

  • dang some of those 8 year olds got better technique than most guys I know

  • Aye... I mean seriously, add a couple of years to them (to gain weight) and they would kick my ass so easily.

This is fucking hard core muay thai the way it's supposed to be. Not some pansy western version training.

  • Thank God for Jiu Jitsu.

  • PRACTICE IM THAI AND WERE THE BEST MOVE TO OUR COUNTRY AND LEARN FROM THE BEST, its all in the heart guys!

  • A great work!! Thanx

  • how the hell are their roundhouses so fast! mine comes out slow as hell and makes me very tired

  • God, talk about nostalgia! I remember alot of those faces in the background. I got photo's of a few of them back home. I did sit ups on that rack after training Lol. i remember getting my mongkon blessed at the Wat (temple) next door and there was a primary school you walked past to get there. can't see Marwin there though, he was their top fighter back in '02 when i was there.

  • That I calld MUAY THAI!

  • thats real muay-thai training.....

  • May I know which camp is this? Kaesamrit?

  • not Kaewsamrit..still trying to work it out...

  • Jar Tui Gym (Nakarntorn). Jar Tui is the promoter and i think he's briefly in a muay thai scene in "Bangkok Dangerous." theres also a West Australian branch run by Brett Dalton. Its near Wat Sitarom in Kok Moo (near Royal Princess Hotel.)
