Hello! By "Using Notebook, copy the embed code and rename rename file to AnyFile.htm", may I do that after downloading a video, changing its name for .htm and then insert it as text? Thanks!
Using Notebook, copy the embed code and rename rename file to AnyFile.htm
In your Outlook message select: Insert>File. Then Browse to the .htm file just created, in the bottom right corner of the browse window, click the arrow to open Insert menu. Select Insert As Text.
To test Send to yourself. If problems, check security settings and verify your host isn't stripping embedded content. Same with recipients.
LOL kidscenterca, I meant 'Notepad', however any simple text editor will work just fine.
I noticed that typo after I had posted, but was unable to edit the comment to correct. I'm surprised it took four months before being noticed. I had previously seen a movie "The Notebook" and it must have been fresher in my mind at that time than Gates Wonder Machine's 'Notepad'. ;-)
Unfortunately, when I attempt to insert as text, it just inserts the text, and sends the e-mail as the code in text. Any other suggestions? I'm using Outlook 2002.
I forgot to mention, as a minimun the recipients E-Mail client should have your E-Mail address listed in their 'Safe Senders List'. Google it to see how if you aren't sure ......

Never tried it but the problem foresee is that you would need to send not just the
Outlook file but the embedded video with it and it may become too large.
If you just using a Hyper link to a video already out there then it could work

Just so you know...if you resize a picture like you did, you are still sending the huge picture file. Best to have a smaller picture to start with.

It's possible to embed a YouTube in Outlook mail.
Using Notebook, copy the embed code and rename rename file to AnyFile.htm
In your Outlook message select: Insert>File. Then Browse to the .htm file just created, in the bottom right corner of the browse window, click the arrow to open Insert menu. Select Insert As Text.

Post back if successful.

this works to some extent but u cant insert that as text....

maanav25, here's what I meant by Insert As Text
Select menu item: Insert>File...
From the popup:
1) Chose a 'Filename.htm'
2) Select 'Insert Button'
3) Down Arrow for more options
4) Select 'Insert As Text'
This will insert the .htm file as text into the script, NOT the body of the E-Mail.
To verify, right click on the body and "View Source".
But this may or may not work subject to security setting on recipients computer, per my comment below to SirBrian.
