The music plays straight through, from a slow mothion shot of the van falling off the bridge, through several cuts between the snow fortress entrance, Arthur doing his weightless stuff, and some more van falling, and ends a bit after Fischer is shot.

Cobb says on the airplane, "it's possible, you just have to go deep enough." And then Arthur says, "who did you do it too?" and Cobb doesn't say anything. Yes, the false beliefs that Fischer ends up with in Reality "feel" naturally self-generated - but the team planted a set of ideas which naturally led him these ideas.

What's interesting is the fact that Arthur doubts that inception is possible. He tells Saito that "True Inspiration" is impossible to fake (he says this after the the 'don't think about elephants' comment). But, the team successfully pulls off the inception on Fischer - where Fischer ends up with a set of false beliefs in Reality that feel self-generated. The team fakes True Inspiration!

What Arthur was trying to explain in the earlier scene was that you cannot force the idea into the subject. As far as the movie says, nobody, not the British, not the Americans, ever got Inception to work.
