  • Great playing, sounded sweeet!

  • so whats the difference from a short scale and jsut the normal Thunder bird is there any difference in quality at all?

  • @FatScotishguy i havent tried the original Gibson thunderbird but i think its on par only thing is that the finish is like the worn ebony in the sg short scale bass and easily gets scratches...

  • @FatScotishguy there are plenty of little differences that I am aware of. The headstock is smaller to make up for neck-dive (really that's more of a cosmetic thing, but still relevant). The playability/feel of a short scale is greatly different from long scale or standard necks. With short scale, the frets are all closer so playing fast licks up and down the neck becomes more fluid and easy; however, being smaller frets, the intonation isn't AS precise. Paul Mcartney and Jack Bruce used short

  • hated it traded it in for a jazz bass soo much better

  • @TheNovaBassist Coz ur gay

  • i'd really love for you to show the bass being played etc.!

    looks like a lovely bass

  • @BassManDan101 I've got a shitty cam in my mobile but i gave it a whirl vid is up in 5 min.

  • Please upload a sound test and full review if you can soon! I have a goth thunderbird and like it very much and I want a short scale bass and I want to know if this is the one for me.
