@olvanish they havent released the 2011 srt8's yet. think they're saving them for the summer or later this year. The jeep srt8 isnt coming out until 2012 so probably later this year aswell.

I was told that the SRT8's were gas guzzlers but one of my buddy has one and he told me that it's not that bad if you don't ride it into work everyday....he pretty much uses it on the weekends....but when he travels long distances lik from DC to NY or DC to NC or SC then thats when he has more pit stops than the average conservative gassed car...can i get the same sound with an R/T & same pipes?
You dont buy an SRT to worry about gas mileage. If you have to ask, you cant afford it. And yes an RT sounds very very close to the same with the same setup. I had one that was just like that. And to let you know Im not a rich prick, my car was repo'd a year ago. I miss it everyday. BTW, I got 20 mpg on the xway with my RT on a Predator tune

Well, the Chrysler 300C and the Challenger do it too, I'm not sure about the trucks, though. So basically any car equipped with the 5.7 Hemi does it. The best part is, it's almost unnoticeable, the difference, only a slight change in the exhaust note. When you step on the gas, the other 4 instantly come back on.

I installed Super 44 Mufflers from Flowmaster. Then I took out the resonators at the end of the exhuast and reinstalled just a through pipe. So Technically its not a entire flowmaster exhaust. Again, all I did was install mufflers and replace the resonators at the end with straight pipes.
i have blacked out taillights on my stang, and i had them on my truck i never got pulled over. my friend has had them on his camaro and a cop pulled him over for red fog lights and didnt say anything about the tail lights. they say "for off road use only" but i dont think cops give a shit.
so its best to get a rt?i know they have a pull a part in ohio for a srt8.for $4500.You think i can drop that on a sxt?or its going to mess up something?
Add two more cylinders then Increase the Bore Dia of your cylinders. Make sure you come up with about 300 more hp and you should be close!, Good Luck.

I own a '06 SRT-8, and NO it never shuts down any valves. I went from Houston to Dallas, 75mph and got an average of 22.7 mpg. All stock. No Lie!!!

i understand that. its not ALL about speed. its the utter and raw personality. the charger weighs more than most boats, has the engine of most trucks, and has a look to match its i don't give a fuck personality.
the camaro is the youthful spontaneous muscle car. the charger is the wiser more collected muscle car, and i love every inch of it.

I'm 28 and I couldn't agree better...and it's a four door...I wanted the Mustang GT 500 cobra my mothers like "no, it's a two door WHAT ABOUT ME"...so I kept wondering what car can I get that matches my personality, it's a four door so my mother and friends won't feel cramped up, and has the speed and kick I want...the Chargerrrrrrrr..in a couple of months I'm gonna get it, damn shit sounds so sexy, especially after I heard how many women panties drop when they hear it lmao..is SRT-8 is better?

i have a magnaflow on this car. and it's horrible compared to others... drone is bad and the whole sound in general isn't that impressive.

For everyone.
I installed Super 44 Mufflers from Flowmaster. Then I took out the resonators at the end of the exhuast and reinstalled just a through pipe. So Technically its not a entire flowmaster exhaust. Again, all I did was install mufflers and replace the resonators at the end with straight pipes.

i have blacked out taillights on my stang, and i had them on my truck i never got pulled over. my friend has had them on his camaro and a cop pulled him over for red fog lights and didnt say anything about the tail lights. they say "for off road use only" but i dont think cops give a shit.

Add two more cylinders then Increase the Bore Dia of your cylinders. Make sure you come up with about 300 more hp and you should be close!, Good Luck.

I loved flows on my 2008 charger... but - the 2 chamber resonated into the cab around 2000 - 2500 rpms... was annoying. However, did sound fucking MEAN!
