Yes they could mean the same, however depending on the card itself it can mean differently if its a negative card. Hopefully I will run into an example very soon, so I can clarify further.
i do have a question, when you refer to the symbols, are they the same for each tarot card or are you just pointing out what they mean in regards to the fool x x x x
