I hate what HIT has done to this show. REALLY hate it. All they've done is make more and more engines and stories about THEIR backround instead of Thomas. This IS about Thomas after all you know! The older series were much simpler, when there were stories about the main engines in the series and also you learnt from it, whilst this one you don't. Belle does have a lot to learn about the older engines such as Toby, and it's a pity that probably even Gordon would be intimidated by her large size not to mention her fast speed, but one thing I like about her is that she has a big heart and a free spirit. Belle is a dark blue tank engine with red/gold lining, her cab reads the number "6120". She has 6 driving wheels on each side. 6 multiplied by 2 is 12, so she has 12 driving wheels in all.

The reason being is that I sort of watch the series just to see if any good things come up (like Bertie and Stanley finally getting speaking roles, hoping to see other characters have screen time instead of Thomas &, hoping that HiT may redeem themselves at least...). The only thing about them keeping me hooked are the specials as such.

The problem with Arthur is that he actually has components of both 2MT and 3MT engines, being not quite one or the other in some respects, so he appears larger than he should do as a 2MT. Belle is an out and out 2MT, though I'm saddened by the square buffers reused from Gordon when they should be oval in shape. One of those things, I haven't mentioned the water cannons yet...!!!

Belle sounds good, and she looks great. But, again, the plot lets EVERYTHING down. Every episode I feel more and more sorry for Nitrogen. They have fantastic CGI animation yet it's all wasted on mediocre/poor plots.
