Someone came from British Columbia told me that there are lots of oil wells that are capped and no company wants to use it because it would force the price of gasoline to fall below $0.50 per litre. And it would allow Canada to become independant from foreign oil. Well? Then then is no need for tar sands. Trillions of barrels yet no one want to extract that oil from the wells in Pink Mountain.

Whats with this bullshit? Fort Crack has to the the worst, most miserable place I've ever been. I've never seen or met up with one single friendly person in Fort Mcmurray in my 4 month waste of life there. Pollution is plenty, hookers, crime fill the streets. Oil sands are not oil. You use just as much energy from natural gas let alone the oil used to power the huge machines just to turn the tar sands into very low grade dirty crude. Oil sands are very energy inefficient and will never produce more than a few million barrels a day.
