I Agree,first & foremost 0ur Government need to understand & recongnize that this is not a homosexual issue and needs to be address.the two is not the same.
Transgendered Benefits and recognition by the medical community. Mental health services by those who are familiar with transgendered individuals. For our mental health inpatients, to focus less on why they believe are transgendered, but to teach them to accept who they are, how to cope with their situation, and mostly, that being transgendered is no more a disorder than being gay is!
there are also many people who this research would not represent, such as trans people who don't have internet access. this may exclude people who are homeless, who can't afford internet, or who live in such a rural area they can't get internet access at home. i will think on the topic and make a video as soon as i can. have fun with the project.... i loooove research.

hey, so question: how exactly is your research identifying/defining the transgender population? is it specifically tied to medical transitioning, or does it for instance include people who i.d. as trans in the sense that they attempt to transgress the gender binary etc but don't pursue all or parts of the former...or those who don't i.d. with any particular label but who share overlapping needs and resources as many ftms/mtfs? just wondering, hit me back :)
