Wow! There is some real ignorance on this thread. The stupid thing about youtube is that trolls look only at one clip and think they know something. For the record, what you DON"T see here is that this was in a hot-ass club at like 4am and everyone was tired. On top of this, it was a Friday so You had already had two classes (90 minutes each), so unsurprisingly he didn't come all that tight.
This is no way takes anything away from Buddha who has some crazy creativity and deserved to take this.
youtube makes scholars out of those who would be deemed IDIOTS...elsewhere!YOU.IS.THE.TRUTH!as is JIN..Hilty,& Bosch are great PEOPLE as well as DANCERS!
yu definitely won that one. if you count humping the floor as a good dancer, then you're very mistaken. Someone just wants more attention lol. H&B all the way
"Google my name: Marven Payne then when you understand the kind of dance experience you are talking to, comment to me. Otherwise you just look foolish."
woah woah sounds like we got a real confident man in the house Mr marvenp... Man, your argument is full of holes and kinda crappy actually, but I'll ignore that since you apparently know a lot about locking and that you're a fantastic dancer. Ahem. Pardon me while I go laugh in the corner.
hey men...what up?!?!?i'm dcfunk an italian locker and i respect budda stretch!!!!!the dance is not trick...the dance is FEELING and BODY CONTROL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Furthermore I just danced in Japan's no. 1 artist's new video ("Rescue" by the group Kat-Tun) with the awesome Go-Go Brothers. Hilty and Bosch can't even stand on the same stage with them. Yu's (Hilty and Bosch) locks are just dog ugly. Watching Yu and Rei of the Go-Go Brothers is art in motion.
you do realise HnB and GGB have met eachother many times and also danced together a few times.. hnb are respectable.. and you?? getting a big head and rubbing dirt on hnb.. dancing just aint an art as you say.. its life..
yu still did good.. but stretch funk'd it out with better tricks
You may be a well known choreographer, but your name isn't well known in locking circles. And just because you have experience as a dancer doesn't give you the right to be arrogant.
If you feel so passionately about it, why don't you battle Hilty and Bosch and show them why they suck. Then you'll have more credibility.

As a Director/Choreographer who has worked in Japan for over 20 years, i think I know what I'm talking about. I've taught, choreographed and directed most of these "kids" that seem to impress you. I know who Hilty and Bosch are and they don't impress me. And of course they can be compared, that's why they are battling, Apparently the judges agree with me because Stretch won. You need to know who "Elite Force" are. If it wasn't for them, most of these J-Kids wouldn't even be dancing.

You're cliche, boring, and your interpretation of the music isn't that inspiring. There's a reason why you've gotten nowhere as a choreographer.
Check yourself before you say anything.
Stretch won. He had better dynamics and had a better feel when he danced. But that doesn't mean that You isn't any better as a locker. Freestyle is different from choreography. Btw You's freestyle is a million times better than any of your stuff. By farrr
This Japanese kid had nothing on Stretch. No musicality at all. Stretch is dancin' and groovin' to the music. This Japanese kid is just trying to pull out as many power moves as he can as quickly as he can. Dance is exactly that "DANCE!" Young kids these days don't get that. If you ain't hearin' the music, you ain't dancin' If this was a posing battle, then the J-Kid won. But it was a dance battle and Stretch got in dat ass! PERIOD!
Dude this "J-Kid" that you talking about, is Yu from Hilty and Bosch, and he knows what he's doing, those fast moves is a style that he like to do. Buddha and Yu have different styles, you can't compare one with other.
OK, I know this reply is kinda late but this is what I can say as an avid fan of locking: H & B are incredible dancers. If you think they are just "posing", then you should watch their performance from Red Bull BC ONE. But I do agree with you to a certain degree. Sometimes H & B put up great performance, but other times they just speed locking, which is what You did in this video. You can't look at this and say they aren't great lockers, bc they are.

Stretch won by a long shot. Yu wasn't grooving to the music. Yu kept dancing as if the melody never changed - He needs to adapt to the music.
Marven Payne - Not all young people are like that :)

I like Go-Go brothers , but on certain songs I like Hilty and Bosch more.
I agree with you having your own oppinion about this, but I think theyr locks are quite nice.

hey dude.. can't you feel what stretch is doing? it's dance in it's purest form.. not tricks like you are saying.
the very fact that the crowd applauded tells us how well this dance is presented!
