This song brought back some memories, my husband and I have been together since this song came out in 89, I used to listen to this when I would drive up to spend the weekends with him, Just don't hear singers like Vesta, Mikki Howard, Regina Belle, Anita Baker Etc, anymore, when those women sang you FELT it & that's why this song is a classic. I always loved the way that R&B singers back in the day could make you forget about your problems or that you just had a bad day. Vesta could do that with her beautiful and sweet voice...and what a range that lady had. One thing that I believe is that we should always support the Divas of the 70', 80's and 90's like Vesta many of them are still out there singing and can put it on down...Vesta will be missed...RIP

I instantly fell in love with this song when I first heard it,becasue I thought that it was my favorite female artist Chaka Khan.But when I found out that it was Vesta and that she use to sing back ground for Chaka,she became one of my favorites.I remember her performance on the Apollo when she was doing the running man,and her most recent performance on Monique! She will be missed by all of us who loved her,and we are blessed to still be able to enjoy her talent through her music! RIP DIVA!

My guy called me on the phone and he said he had some bad news! He said one of your favorite singers died from the 80's? I guessed that it was her for some reason! I don't want to believe it! She is so pretty, great flair for fashion, and most importantly she has a powerful and beautiful voice. I just saw her on the Monique Show about a couple weeks ago! I usually don't watch the Monique show but for some reason I had to see her!
