His low back is releasing from the floor. It should not. Back should stay flat on the floor throughout the movement. He should bring his hips/legs closer to 90 degrees to ensure his lumbar spine does not release from the floor.
This looks like a good exercise. Whoa - I just saw the twisting part. I'll have to try that. I have done lying leg lifts in the recent past but I think that they ended up hurting my low back. Since you aren't going all the way down to the floor, maybe that's better on your low back. I'll give it a shot. Thanks again - I just have found your videos, and those ball exercises look like a great combination of balance, strength, and flexibility training.

If I were rich, I'd make training videos of the exact sort, with guys wearing more liberated exercise wear. You're almost there with that. I only feel this way because I'm tired of trend over the last decade that put women in bimbo outfits and stuck men in longer shorts as if to say men are just a utility.
