like WTFFF???? you think lebrons stats pop out at you? sure ya it's pretty damn impressive, but then you pull up Jordan's resume and you are in fckin awe! like how in the world does someone amount to this, the fact he is a 9x all-defensive first team is just unbelievable. this is exactly what Jordan talks about, he said something like this, "look scorings easy, anybody can score, but it's the assists that matter, it's the steals, the offensive rebounds that count, this what i worked on..."

god damn this shit is tooooo fckin hard. i don't know even know where to start...but timjr5000 is absolutely on point. even if you were to build an imaginary prototype of the greatest and most elite career of a basketball player, that imagination would still not amount to Jordan, never. Because you have to realize Jordan IS the prototype, he is that imaginary player, he is everything basketball and beyond. No matter who comes in the picture, Jordan revolutionized the game, end of story.

@abobocar people who worked hard wil never regret the sacrifice they had put into....people who take advantage of their natural ability and refuse to work will fail instead....you may never reach MJ's talent, but at the end of the day, its all about how far you had pushed yourself. you may not be able to dunk from the free throw line, but if in the beginning you cant even manage to touch the board and you are able to dunk now, you will realise that you actually had succeded..

Yes so true. Of course statistically he was above all basketball players. But it wasn't just stats or all the victories. It was the drama. The fact that if you were to make up an ideal imaginary fantasy basketball career of the greatest player. Michael Jordan's career would still probably be more impressive. Especially when he retired and came back. He retired at the absolute pinnacle too with a 3-peat. Came back with nothing to prove but still adds to his greatness.

I realized that someday someone will be greater than Michael Jordan. It's inevitable and Jordan said it himself. It's a little too late for Kobe he's at the tail end of his career, and I don't know if it's going to be Lebron James. I just really hope that person doesn't come along until after the day I die.

@fgypsy45 Yea I said this a long time ago i don't even remember, (1 year ago apparently). But it was when Lebron was showing a strong game early in his career and leading a crap team to the best record in the league. Now that he's in Miami, all that no class act + he doesn't have the fundamental skills (not like Kobe) I know Lebron will not even be close to Jordan. But it is a testament to how good he is, seeing the cavs pull off an all-time record turnaround the season after Lebron leaves.
