Because In the Original Dawn of War, ( like Dawn of War: Dark Crusade) The Rhino's could fit 27 Marines, Even in the history of the Emperium.

@EveofBattle since 3rd edition (probably before that but I don't have 2nd edition material) of 40k the Rhino has been able to carry 10 marines in power armour, plus one driver and one gunner/vehicle commander. Dawn of War isn't very faithful to its own source material sometimes. Like the Imperial guard chimera that behaves like a clown car with the ridiculous number of men piling out of it.

Actually, this is not what was involved in the Kabul bomb attack. That was a Rhino Runner, which is essentially a heavily armored bus. This is an M113 APC. Big difference.

Awww how cute. The Rhino, with its cardboard armor, utilizes a design that was obsolete at the end of WW1. It is easily destroyed by ANYTHING on the battlefield, including, but not limited to; small green guys, space elf's, laser fire and generally anything bigger than it.

I also like how they don't show just how much fucking trouble it was to get the thing over the car, just skipped to the end. Good job :D

Im confident a irl M1A2 Abrams would run this thing into a ditch.

@memorex3248 Now I'm not a fan of this video, or 40k all that much, But I am an enthusiast for tanks, and what you just said made no sense.

1. The M113 (which is the vehicle shown in the video) Is an APC, meaning of course an Abrams, T90, hell even a WW2 Sherman would be able to take it on with its current armament.

2. this does not take away from the fact that this is an M113 with a different paint scheme, and the M113 is a very capable APC, it was actually rated #1 by the military channel.

Sorry to disapoint you its a British AFV 432 APC not a M113.

Major recognition point that should be noticed is the engine is on the other side. Driven from the RHS not the LHS as a M113 is.

This type of vehicle is often called a Battlefield Taxi. This particular one appears to be a Mk2 with a diesel engine due to the exhaust position, hundreds have been sold by the MOD and are a fav for being converted to WW2 vehicles for movies.
