These broken cars must be in Michigan. Two out of three drivers are telling the camera person "I'm number one". Another is we have no vehicle inspection laws. Thirdly, we're all so broke here we can't afford anything but wrecks, lol! Great video Eric.

He's hanging onto the wheel and sort of leaning right over the passenger seat to view out the small gap. Anyway gets out, puts some gas in and drives off. Wonder if he got home before the cops picked him up?.

I think Top Gear has the right balance of humor, interviews and car test driving. The fact they can test drive the fastest 'street legal' cars in the world certainly doesn't hurt. Having their interviewee run hot laps is funny all on its own. And the guys just do crazy stuff in all locations -- and they love cars. Who wouldn't want to emulate that? Thumbs up to you ETCG.
I hope you get to drive a Formula One car one of these days, I think you deserve it. If I ever get rich enough to own a F1 team, I'd let you drive the car. =D Thanks for the great videos.

Eric, i have a 1993 honda prelude, that has oil in with the spark plugs and is surging in p and n, and surges in gear after a long drive, what do you recommend i do? i cant pay anyone to do it for me and can only do very little myself because i am recovering from a knee reco.

It's better to have a smaller loyal following that appreciates what you do than to have a large audience trying to get free swag.
As for Speed's the Car Show, I'm not impressed. It's like they have A.D.D. and try to cram too much into too short of time. If they took all of the the time they spent saying "like us on facebook and follow us on Twitter" they could have more detailed segments. In the 1st show they had the greatest subject for a car show segment, the 24 hours of lemons. they blew it.

yes eric ur exactly right about keeping hydrated on hot days. i am a tire teck and its very important to take it easy and take lots of trips to the water fountain or closest gas station to get some powerade. last thing that ur boss wants to happen is u fainting or messing up on a car

sigh.. i had to work today, i am a technician for land rover, 114 today in PA near philly, well it was 114-120 in the shop about 110 outside, it was fucking brutal but i still pulled 17 hours of flat rate in my 8 hour shift so i wasn't too upset

Hell it was so hot in the shop today, temps outside were 110, and 101 inside the shop, I just constantly refilled and swapped out 2 bottles of water I had, leaving one in the freezer and swapping it out an hour later, but yesterday the heat won when I got extremely confused and couldn't figure out an oil filter so I went home, but yeah stay cool!

TopGear is the greatest show to ever air. I've been watching that shit before my American Commrades even knew what the hell it was (simple bitchez!). It's the greatest car show on the planet - ofcourse people are going to emulate it. That's one of the measurements of great success.

I couldn't agree with you more about Top Gear, apparently Adam Carolla was originally slated to be on the American Top Gear but it never played out... I'm a fan of Adam & he's actually a dyed in the wool car-nut so i'm glad he has a forum to "do his thing" on. The car show may be no TG, but it still seems better than the U.S. TG! As for cars & girls: I find a women covered in grease, working on cars infinitely more sexy than "eye candy car show girls" draped over cars they know nothing about.
I believe that the Car show wasn't funny and that there was a reason why Adam Corolla wasn't on tv for like the last 5 or 6 years. I thought it was going to be an awesome show because of the commercials. The Commercials made me laugh sooo hard but overall, not that great. Top Gear is better! :D

I'm having flash backs to the 1992 movie "My Cousin Vinny." When Marisa Tomei started talking about limited slip differentials I was in love. After watching this video of a young lass changing a starter makes me have similar feelings.
I never seen an engine compartment so open that you could pull the starter from the top before. Also I never seen anyone using scotch tape to make a wrench smaller before ether lmao. I guess it worked. About 5 years ago I knew a lady that owned her own shop in Allen Park, MI. Also the difference between heat stress & heat stroke is in the difference if you stop sweating. If you stop sweating its too late & time to call 911.
Call me old fashoned, but it's nice having a boys club and the girls have their girls club. But eric wants it co-ed and always politically correct. Though nature proves there are differences in interests between the sexes. Personall I like that

sigh.. i had to work today, i am a technician for land rover, 114 today in PA near philly, well it was 114-120 in the shop about 110 outside, it was fucking brutal but i still pulled 17 hours of flat rate in my 8 hour shift so i wasn't too upset

Hell it was so hot in the shop today, temps outside were 110, and 101 inside the shop, I just constantly refilled and swapped out 2 bottles of water I had, leaving one in the freezer and swapping it out an hour later, but yesterday the heat won when I got extremely confused and couldn't figure out an oil filter so I went home, but yeah stay cool!

TopGear is the greatest show to ever air. I've been watching that shit before my American Commrades even knew what the hell it was (simple bitchez!). It's the greatest car show on the planet - ofcourse people are going to emulate it. That's one of the measurements of great success.

Have you ever thought maybe they couldn't afford it right then and there? Now, besides the Mercedes, I would say that is the case. But again, things are much different over there than here, although the "American" attitude is starting to influence the kids there it seems. Keep an open mind I say. I couldn't agree with you more about Top Gear, apparently Adam Carolla was originally slated to be on the American Top Gear but it never played out... I'm a fan of Adam & he's actually a dyed in the wool car-nut so i'm glad he has a forum to "do his thing" on. The car show may be no TG, but it still seems better than the U.S. TG! As for cars & girls: I find a women covered in grease, working on cars infinitely more sexy than "eye candy car show girls" draped over cars they know nothing about.

I believe that the Car show wasn't funny and that there was a reason why Adam Corolla wasn't on tv for like the last 5 or 6 years. I thought it was going to be an awesome show because of the commercials. The Commercials made me laugh sooo hard but overall, not that great. Top Gear is better! :D

@midlantic1 it's funny, that in so many guy professions, people say we need more girls. i don't remember any girl professions, where people are going around saying, we need more guys in this profession. except maybe nursing. some how, i think i would rather turn wrench then be a nurse. funner cleaning up after a cars spilt fluids, then a persons. for all they guys who want to be nurses. you go guy :)

I never seen an engine compartment so open that you could pull the starter from the top before. Also I never seen anyone using scotch tape to make a wrench smaller before ether lmao. I guess it worked. About 5 years ago I knew a lady that owned her own shop in Allen Park, MI. Also the difference between heat stress & heat stroke is in the difference if you stop sweating. If you stop sweating its too late & time to call 911.
