Modern coal power plants put out water and co2 , thats it .
I no its difficult for the malthusian mind to comprehend but in this age we have wet ventury scrubbers and other anti pollution devices . Modern coal plants like cars are very efficient and clean burning . In the 80s and 90s car emissions were cleaned up so much as they actually clean the air in many cities . The reason they cant just set higher emission targets is because co2 is not a pollutant .

I did not buy my 3kw solar array because I had some misguided fantasy about saving the planet , I got them to be more self sufficient . They will never produce the power it took to make them , but nether will my TV set . The fact is that the power we use in Australia is the least amount of harm we will do to our environment . I consider myself an environmentalist not a fool , co2 is not and has never been a pollutant .

Why should we believe this one guy with no evidence at all? How do we know he isn't simply on the payroll of the fossil fuel companies? So he is saying that we can pour as much rubbish into the oceans and fill the skies with poison and it makes no difference at all...sure!
Why is he so sure of himself when no evidence when there could be so much at risk?

The CURRENT President of The United States has dumped massive amounts of borrowed monies onto his teacher pet eco-gestapo projects. Even though it cost more to prop up these projects than it could ever EARN or pay back. My own State uses 20+ yr old data & edicts from the far left progressives. Which has intruded on people's property. And economy. And drove businesses out of the State. These LIE$ run the democrat dogma. The problem is that people actually believe their lies. @memama2 Yeah, they are doing the same thing in California. Some new schools are being built with expensive solar panels, yet the panels won't make back the money in saved electricity for 25 years. These solar panels are not going to last 25 years and they can only produce enough electricity for the lighting. Good luck to them powering the cafeteria dish-washer with the solar panel on the roof.
