I just saw her do this live- less than 20 feet away in a small theater! It was SO amazing! I can't believe I was really there. She was so funny in it, got a huge response from the audience. And she still did the cartwheel! The whole show was amazing. I was in near tears everytime she was onstage.
she was amazing, the cast was amazing, the set was nice and simple but overall it's a pretty weak show. it's also very dated in the way of women's issues.
i did love how it was colorblind casting though...i wish they would do more of that these days.

Clearly you don't know a good musical. Phantom is the longest broadway musical ever. The nutcracker is boring. Phantom has lots of beautiful things in it. Nutcracker does to. But please don't trash a good musical!
guys, you really can't compare The Nutcracker to Phantom of the Opera. one is a ballet (all dancing, no singing) and one is a musical. they're two completely different genres! it's not a fair comparison.

I love this score so much, but these Tony orchestrations don't do it justice. They make the song sound so tacky! I can't stand it!
