rise for the sap of spring. her dearest wish? god she loved christ so much. He dwells alone. i say witch trail, if a woman is barren she must be burned as an abomination to god. What could be more unnatural than a woman who cant concieve? in hospital of jesus quicken me.
Was Christina Rosetti really that good? It sounds like a bunch of bloated poetic cliché-needling to me. She's learnt the idiom of the poet, but in the end has very little to say.
Love the simple, clear frankness of it. In the poem and the performance, it is brilliant. Death is all it is. Death is it, nothing to be embellished. It is a fact of life.
This is beautiful. Your little sigh after "I shall not hear the nightgale sing on as if in pain" is just perfect. The crisp deliverance of the last line emphasises the finality of the subject matter. The music is wonderful too, I find it almost chilling.
I love you, I love you, I love YOU!

You'd be better off doing "No Thank you John" by Christina Rosetti.
I don't know why but I just picture you saying that poem to someone named john.

You know what is uncanny, is, I was listening to a more classical rendition of the poem,
then I come to this and by the sudden, I see pop culture in a nutshell!
What a finite thing, and to know that it isn't going to last forever makes it unacknowledgable at all.
