I think the dislikes are probably people who like clear, comprehensible vocals. I saw them both live together as well in Grand Rapids, and Baroness WAS fantastic, but I still enjoy seeing Mastodon more. One of those reasons, is because once Mastodon came on Stage, literally the WHOLE crowd was singing along with all their songs, and it was ridiculously amazing lol. But I do have to agree, Baroness is fucking fantastic. I just personally enjoy Mastodon more :)

Not a huge BTBAM fan, but it was worth it for Baroness, Valiant Thorr and Mastodon, any day xD. Sadly, Bill from Mastodon was sick so John Baizley had to fill in. Don't get me wrong, it was fantastic, and he did an excellent job. Just wished I had gotten to see the Full band of Mastodon, even though it probably would have sounded the same xD.
