  • Man, u were raping the TJ, no wonder the control arms gave up.

  • @trio3d What TJ??

  • @PirateJeep I meant the XJ. Sorry my bad.

  • @trio3d LOL...Yeah that's Trever who we called "Wild Thing" LOL...he wouldn't give up till she broke...

  • wow what a great vid! me likey

  • was this pictou county?

  • @sunn0isamazing Nope, Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia BEST terrain!

  • zj 14 inch lift dana 60s locked with 5.13s and 38 tsl's, vids soon to come

  • damn dude this is one of the best jeep vids i've seen on the internet props and kudos man

  • Jeff is youre jeep auto or manual??? what do you recomend, auto or manual?? PLEASE REPLY

  • My Jeep is a manual...I like it now that I have good gearing but best for offroad would really be auto, no clutch to get mud and water in but you don't get the great engine compression for the steep downhills with aauto...

As a matter of fact, this past weekend my Jeep got so hot underneath from some hard driving that it melted my clutch line and had a helluva time driving home without a clutch...lol...video coming soon! ;)

    Cheers!

    Jeff

  • Thanks!!! sorry to bother you but I have another question!!! when you lifted youre jeep and put some 37" on it aside from the gears and the lockers did you modify the driveshafts or axles??

  • np man, yes, my frount axle is a d44 out of an old Scout and I put chromoly shafts in it...the Scout d44, unlike the TJ d30 is a passenger side drop which allowed me to add a d300 transfer case to the already existing TJ's 231 TC and not have to flip it for my doubler...my rear axle is out of a d44 out of a Jeep XJ and I also added chromoly shafts..both front and rear axles have Lockrite lockers and 5:13 gears.

  • My rear driveshaft is a shortened XJ front shaft and the front shaft is the original DS but needs to be lengthened 2"

she works really well for me...oh and we ground out the walls of the rear double cardan joint to get more articulation out of it.

    Cheers!

    Jeff

  • thanks man!!! I currently have a cj 8 but it barely works I want to by a JK!! do you recommend 2 door or 4 door?? I think the 2 door is better offroad but the 4 door looks cool without doors!! please reply

  • Great Video man!

Do you know the mods on the XJ and silver TJ?

  • Can't remember what the XJ has, I know it was a 6" lift but can't remember the brand...My TJ (which is Khaki not silver ;)) had a 2" Procomp Suspension with 2" spacers and 1" body lift...It now has an 8" Rockkrawler long arm system with coilovers :)

    Cheers!

    Jeff

  • Sorry about that, Im color blind. "they all look alike" applies to me. ;-)

How do you like that 8" RockKrawler system?

Was changing it to coilovers hard?
