I know that it's not true, I was just trying to freak him out into sitting still as I was beginning to get irritated at this point.
And again, dumbass move as a first timer. At the time, I felt confident in my procedure as I was keeping myself seperate from him. I wasn't thinking THEN about contaminants on his own body.
I openly admit that the process was horrible, but I have drastically improved.
after all nothing too bad could happen right? :) i'm being serious (doing home piercings and stuff) i hope you improve to the best :) if you want it of course :)
@110000000th No. I still do home scarrings that require the person to be over 18 and sign a waiver stating that they know I'm not a professional, but I really only do it as an unpaid hobby.
@888EKO888 I wrote my waiver myself. I basically went down the list of every possible ramification I could think of, plus anything suggested to me by others- everything from the fact that I was not a licensed medical professional and was not certified to give aftercare instruction to the fact that I was not getting paid for the service (to do so is technically illegal if you are not licensed) to the fact that I was acting out of an unlicensed building. I left no stone unturned.
@888EKO888 Of course, my waiver may be outdated as I haven't done a scarring in over a year. Check your local and state laws, do lots of research and my best bit of advice- TALK TO LEGAL AND MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE! God forbid you should HAVE to talk to these people, but it's best to do it before you have a problem and they're "on the opposing side", so to speak. Now that I've been leading a more professional life, I keep a lawyer on speed dial. You should do the same.
"can't go back and redo part of the design"
Quite untrue.
Did you actually try to take a pulse without changing gloves?! This is a filthy process.

we all learn from our mistakes. Some mistakes have a more severe outcome (infection ect.)
Good to hear that you're doing things cleaner now. I can probably answer questions if you're still learning.

Lucky him, no infection at all, but I attribute that to good aftercare.
