The hi-lo was disabled by Derek. I was right next to him when he did it. The siren has a bad solenoid and so it sounds sick when trying to do hi-lo, and the city claims they can't afford to hire the crane it would require to get up to the solenoid and fix it -- and that's IF a replacement can be found. The city did not disable anything. Derek did. He took the flasher with him, as the siren didn't need it in its current state. Sounds like if they do anything it will be a replacement.

Well is you think about it, the 1003 is pointless if they have the hi-low disabled. They should of gotten a 1000T.

But if they can somehow enable and fix the hi-low, that would be awesome!

the last thunderbolt in my area (at least last to my knowledge) is still operational. Hopefully it will stay up for longer. As soon as a new siren is up in that spot, i'm calling the city.

Even though the Test (manual) button was pressed for only 1/2 a second, the vibration from the growl could be felt clear through my bones.
