Hey is that second or third unit back a KCS unit? That was hell of cool of that crew to salute you, too. If there's anything that encourages me to railfan for a railroad, particularly CP, it's when a crew gives you extra horn like that. That's awesome.

Just for future reference Canadian Pacific locomotives have K3L's and K3H's Not K3LA's K3LA's are American tuned. This horn on this locomotive is a K3L.

Great catch!, I remember that this was earlier in the year when i had a shortage of support staff to take me train watching, the only person who could was Teshome but because he had class, i wouldn't be able to catch him at Abrams anyway.
I ended up Railfanning the Philly Sub catching Q174&Q438 Instead

Me neither it seems, LOL! I got lucky this time. Who would have thought a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday midnight train would run on a Saturday afternoon? You never know when 30J/31J can be late!
