That is true. Nintendo game system. Bought back in 1988, you can plug a cartridge in, and boom it works. The cartridge might need some blown, or even a quick cleaning but it'll fire up crisp.

I've had my PS1 since it was first released, and it still works perfectly. I still have my PS2 that I bought when it first released, and it still works perfectly. The PS3 I bought at release still works as good 4 years later as it did the day I bought it.

My Xbox 360 lasted 2 days before the Red Ring of Death. I sent it back, it took 3 MONTHS to come back. It came back, lasted a month, then died again. Tried to send it back, was told my warranty expired. FUCK XBOX 360.

well it makes sense, systems that require less power produce less heat, and heat DESTROYS electronics. ps2's last forever cuz they've got a 300mhz processor, which is so small it's almost ridiculous compared to the 360's tri-core 3.2ghz processor. for those of you who don't know the difference, 3.2 ghz is 3200 mhz, 1ghz = 1000mhz. more generally means excess heat, which means it needs a better cooling setup, which the 360 fails at because the 12v fans only run at 5v for noise concerns.

If you want a newer system that will work properly then you don't get an Xbox. PS3 will last alot longer, never freeze never crash. Ok so Xbox has some nice features that the PS3 does not. But then again PS3 has some nice features the Xbox does not. Overall performance PS3 wins. 360 fan boys get at me, just remember I'm not like you sticking up for what I own, I own both.

My first xbox lasted 4 years until it broke, and then I had it repaired free of charge, and that one works to this day. But really the PS3 is a great system but just because you think it is amazing dosent mean you have to go around ranting on how other systems suck.

Many of you don't know the real reason behind why the 360 and ps3 break. Since lead was banned to be used in products around 2004, it's quite obvious why my ps2, ps1, sega D.C, N64 are still going and ps3/360 isn't. Since lead was banned, the leaded solders in motherboards were and are, no longer used causing the lead-free ones to crack easily under the gpu and cpu.
