  • Loving this series, Simon! Keep it up mate! :D

    PS:

The name of the actress you were trying to recall towards the end of the video is Olivia de Havilland. The only reason I can think of as to why you attributed the surname O'Hara to her is that she co-starred in "Gone With the Wind". ;)

  • what is politically incorrect about the film freaks

  • wow u should be a zombie movie maker lesbian vampire???

  • lol bullet nipples another great video my friend but that last joke was just.....ugh come on you can do better

  • Have you seen the cabnet of dr. caligari? Sorry, couldn't place a link in here for some reason. But the member "crashcorigan" has it.

Some say it is the first Zombie film, however, I don't remember you mentioning it in the first H101.

    Love Freaks!!

    Keep these coming please

  • Simon weren't you afraid of a violent reprisal from your girlfriend being right there while you're talking about the lesbian vampires? And bubba you had me ROFLMAO with that forehead guiding the wisemen to the birth of Christ. Good one man.

  • it was night of the living dead but i see how you could get any of the three confused

  • White Zombie (1932) was good because of Lugosi. He was terrific in the movie.

Val Lewton made a series of horror B-movies in the 1940's the best in my opinion being Cat People (1942) excellent movie that used atmosphere to scare.

Italian horror was also good like Mario Bava's...Black Sunday, Black Sabbath, and others.

Barbara Steele an english actress acted in some of these italian horrors and she was sexy.

Roger Corman's made a series of horror movies based on Edgar Allan Poe's works in 60's

  • NOT BAD MAN KEEP IT UP

  • You forgot to mention Halloween. Anyhow I'm really loving these horror talk videos can't wait for the next one ;p

  • Nice. I'd be interested to hear what you think about the social and historical zeitgeist that bought about and influenced changing themes in horror. Yes, films in the 70's were shocking. But why? e.g Violence in 70's America, the Vietnam war, assassinations, riots, serial killers (the Manson family) and the death of the 60's (Altamont for example). Naturally, horror reflected this, seeing the abandonment of spooks and more of a focus on man as antagonist! I look forward to part 3!
