"In my experience with Mormons you might find yourself agitated easily by others, after even watching things to do with mormons. Its a demonic spirit so be careful."
Wait... so you admit to having demonic spirits influence you?
I got a little confused on your long comment. Let me ask you, what is more powerful?. Words or prayer?. How do you know the Bible is true? do you believe its the true book and God's word?. If yes, how do you know?. Because your parents told you? what is it that makes the Bible so true. Prayer, or blind faith?
Im not apart of this but i can answer your question. I basically asked in Prayer is Jesus Christ true and to show me though tangible means. Tangible means was Game, and probability. i had short prayer saying if you true and you love me you show me, (i know testing god but only way to turn to god) then it happen out 2Billion different seeds out there i got map asked for (each seed different not 2 equal), but to answer Ur other question it because parents told you xor blind faith.
@soMeRandoM670 You can't simply assume my parents taught me in blind faith. I have done my studies for many other churches, but the LDS church is where I know I need to be. Answers to prayers don't come in large revealations, they came in small bits and pieces and you just have to look for them.
Thing is, i would never found god if that didn't happen and i do still have my doubts however more look into it more unlikely it becomes from chance more i understand it. Of logical view point. Im better off not being Mormon after i die. Because if church is false, im afraid go hell. By logic of Mormonism it means that ill have obvious chance to convert to Mormonism, then get elevated to godhood and become god like how said in D&C (JS) that god was once man like us, striving.
The BOM also makes it clear that the Mormon god was always god and therefore couldn't have possibly attained exaltation because that concept isn't mentioned, explained, or even implied in the BOM whatsoever.
@soMeRandoM670 This point shows us that the faith has been evolving over the years; the original BOM was very clear about there being only one God and that Jesus and God were one in the same. It wasn't until the second edition that a conscious effort was put into separating them, the three words "the Son of" being added to key phrases to show that they are disctinctly different.
for godhood. so my only problem with Mormonism is the when you read BOM and D&C you see ever evolving idea. from concepts ideals from bible, to unholy possible blasphemy. my only problem is JS.

@kaylacook1 It would be better to say the closed canon of Christian scripture. Yes letters inspired by the Holy Spirit. Galations is in complete agreement with Isaiah
@corneloup81 There's nothing to say that God won't directly communicate with mankind again, only that he's not doing it through the LDS church leadership.
No matter what they say about christ (mormons)...they have not the same christ...so therefore they believe..be(lie)ve. These poor boys are going to be burdened thier entire life by their faith. If it is GODS will he will open their eyes and free them...
@BrotherDeWalt Ah the sticks or "aits", you can also find these same sticks in 1 Kings 17:12 & 2 Kings 6:1-7. Ezekiel 37 has nothing to say about the Book of Mormon. By using two literal sticks, Ezekiel was illustratively predicting the coming together of two nations, Judah and Israel, which had been separated since the time of King Rehoboam, nothing more.
@BrotherDeWalt The problem with this assumption and assertion is that modern Mormonism has gone pretty far from Biblical Christianity and from even the BOM itself.
I guess you didn't want to mention that part, did you?
@BrotherDeWalt Other than the Mormon jesus and god were separate and distinct, the notion of eternal progression, that the Mormon god was once a man and that we can become gods, too. In fact, the BOM has three added words, "the Son of" to 1 Nephi 11:21, 11:32, and 13:40 which cleanly separate the concept of God and Jesus into separate and distinct beings, but this wasn't the case in the 1830 edition, was it?
How did the Mormon god forget something so simple?
@moparmonster1965 The Bible interpretion has been modified hundreds if not thousands of times to conform to the certain beliefs of a certain church system. Some words have even been changed. There is only one Book of Mormon and I am sure far in the future it will end up being just like the Bible, changed and twisted. Book of Mormon editing was to fix any typos or misunderstandings. The last modification to the Book of Mormon was in th 1930's, whats your point?
The parts of the BOM that are fundamentally flawed have to stay because too many people are watching now. Any changes will be spotted and dragged out into tthe light; that's the reason that the church never makes a public statment about its problematic texts; they let their apologist flunkies do the work for them and keep telling the faithful that theirs is the only true interpretation. That's the best position they can assume, given the major issues facing the church.
And no, the changes to the BOM continue today. The introduction was changed a few years ago in the light of the DNA flap. The old editions read that the ficitonal Lamanites were the primary ancestor of the American Indians to being 'one of' their ancestors. Just a few words added ot deleted can fundamentally change the entire meaning of a passage, can't it?
@BrotherDeWalt If that's the case, the LDS church has a serious problem, having canonized the KJV and Joseph Smith having stolen directly from it, don't they? The fact is that although the church claims to place faith in the Bible, they really only use as far as it can support their position and as a crutch to prop up Mormonism.
@BrotherDeWalt You can view it that way, yes, but you're still going to be wrong. What it means is the reunification of the tribes of Judah that were split after the death of King Solomon. The two sticks symbolize the northern and southern kingdoms coming together under the leadership of the onbe true God.
What proof? "I will make them one nation...and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all." (Ezek. 37:22)
This essentially says that Christ's sacrifice was incomplete and only partially effective and that works are needed to complete the equation, and thus, man becomes his own savior.
When Christ died, what happened? The temple cutrain was rent in twain, wasn't it? This showed that the barriers between God and man, erected by the sins of Adam, were cast aside for a real relationship with God, something that no demonimation can accomplish.
"they back up Mormonism because Christ said he attending another flock of sheep, this where JS got his entire concept from :D if he was FP"
my problem of Mormonism, they self-righteous and there own savior through obedience to D&C and full tithing . and not helpless sinner needing salvation and savior Jesus Christ.
@soMeRandoM670 The problem is that the 'other sheep' argument doesn't actually hold any water because while John 10:16 doesn't tell us who they are, Romans10:19 and 29 do; they are the Gentiles who are not seeking the savior, which leaves the fictional Nephites out because they couldn't shut up about the Mormon jesus (which makes one wonder how they knew what his name would be so ling before His birth).
I find that more likely that Jesus Christ lives than, probability of JS writing from concepts of bible and writing it by him self with no help. the computer analysis was only 1:1Billion that he wrote this by him self due to different writing styles i laughed at this pitiful number. Base probability is 2Billion(non-negotiable) to 1 part chance, highest i calc is 567Billion(Jesus did it) to 1 part chance
@soMeRandoM670 The problem with this assessment is that the BOM shows that the fictional ancient Americans spoke Elizabethan English over 2,000 years before the regional-specific dialect (yea, ye, thee, thy, thou) evolved and in addition, we find parts of the King James' Version of the Bible in it. That's miraculous, indeed, since the BOM plates supposedly predate the first published version of the Bible by some 2,200 years.
And ward i went to where proud to show me this, prove of JS, that by computer that only 1 chance out billion that he wrote this without god and used concepts from bible and stuff. this makes it very likely that JS did right this as unholy joke. as this our eternal salvation at risk. if you Mormon, and i quote "And if we (about JS) wrong, Heavenly father forgive us" NOOOO! because there is no Mormon Heavenly father, he doesn't exist
Satan want you to follow Mormonism if it wrong because you striving to become like god and to have his glory, just as Satan wanted and try to dethrown god. thats something going hell, for trying to become god. however they say that Jesus said that you can sit with Jesus on his thrown ecter to back up mormonism, however when i asked missionary about FP, another gospel ecter they dont agree with it.
@soMeRandoM670 I agree with you here; that said, however, it doesn't mean that God can't use it to His own end as well. Satan being the lord of this world only has the power that God permits him to have.
yes, my only problem with mormonism is possibility and this probability is quite small for eternal salvation for world only 1:1Billion, this to small, 1 part out billion is so large. This was computer Analist of his writings comparing it to his own then making assumption that probability that he did it without divine inspiration. this such small number, i had larger M happen to me in probability. base 2 billion to another base 72Billion state space, i got 1 part i wanted.
1:72Billion (1 part yours atheist you seem to be losing odds are against you(not to u)), only thing that without wasting 6 months people life, is base 2 non-negotiable Billion probability. atheist can try to disprove however they need to search space state to disprove, that takes time also possibly lost so i encourage it i want someone to go to challenge of going through 8Billion different maps to disprove me as i want to find it again :).
assuming that, it takes 0.1 sec to load each map, (manual average) 2.4 sec to make sure doesn't or does fit criteria, do that for 4 different maps, for each seed, takes
635.93 years by your self?? divide that by 1,000,000 people you wasting 857 seconds of people time to disprove me or even to prove me.
think math right. well some one might want to correct me think no one go though that bullshit to disprove me, so i feel happy :) lucky that huge space.
@BrotherDeWalt Unfortunately, while the fictional Moroni spoke of a gospel concept stolen from the Bible, the fact is that modern Mormonism has nothing to do with that same Gospel. The Mormon gospel is one of exaltation and attaining godhood, not salvation through God's grace even though we don't deserve it, as found in the Bible.
@soMeRandoM670 I agree, but that's the central tenet of Mormonism: becoming a god like God. Even their faith in the Mormon jesus (which isn't the Biblical Jesus and thus the reason I don't capitalize the name) is geared toward that end.
